Lucas Jaaber ist DJ und Producer und für seinen harten „straight forward“ Techno bekannt. Der gebürtige Hamburger ist seit vielen Jahren in der Underground Szene in Hamburg unterwegs und hat bereits in den meisten namenhaften Clubs Hamburgs aufgelegt.

Des Weiteren ist er Teil der Veranstaltungsreihe Second Impulse und hat 2022 unter selben Namen mit Claas Herrmann zusammen sein eigenes Label gegründet.
 
Mittlerweile ist Lucas viel rumgekommen und hat bereits in Berlin, Hamburg, Hannover, Ibiza, Leipzig, Lübeck, Lüneburg und Oldenburg aufgelegt. Das Highlight seiner Karriere hatte Lucas, als er 2021 vor Shlømo aufgelegt hat. Seitdem ist Lucas oft als Voract für wahre Größen des Hard Technos dabei gewesen. Als DJ wurde Lucas bereits mit DJs wie Shlømo, Sleeparchive, Angy Kore, Gabriel Padrevita, FLUG, Steve Shaden, Zeltak und weitere gebucht.
 
Als Producer ist Lucas für seinen harten aber groovig, teils hypnotischen Sound bekannt. Sein erstes Release im September 2022 auf seinem eigenen Label hat es bereits mit zwei Tracks in die Beatport Top100 geschafft, welche mittlerweile auch von großen Acts gespielt worden sind.

At the end of 2009 the first 2 turntables + 2-channel mixer decorated his apartment. Through influences such as the Canadian DEADMAU5 and his idol at the time Boris Dlugosch, Thommes started with House. But he didn't keep this genre for long and went to driving tech-house to techno. After 3 years of extensive record spinning, he was on the lineup for the Electronic Spring Break for the first time, where he became a permanent fixture in an old vaulted cellar that had been converted into a club. Gigs in clubs in Trier, like the Exhaus and the Grüne Rakete followed. As a 2-time contest winner of the Open Decks Night, in the Elektroküche in Cologne, he met the Cologne DJ Con Tacto, who immediately gave Thommes a playtime on the next TAKTVOLL. In addition, there were residencies at Südstadt Beats and Herzblut Radio Cologne. It came to the foundation of the Pirates of Cologne by El Capitano Con Tacto. Again he relied on the driving techno sound of Thommes, who was resident of the Pirates of Cologne, which are still notorious for their legendary underground and tunnel raves. As a conclusion and beginning to the baby break Thommes got himself a place on Sebastian Groth's Castle Freaks, where he was in the line up with greats of the techno scene like Hackler & Kuch, Angy Kore or Kerstin Eden. He took over the Techno Dom from Südstadt Beats, which he gave away to Mehlem after a short time due to lack of time, but where he is still a resident today. A residency with the guys from Defense of Techno followed before Corona. In 2021 Thommes returned with his first release "ULURU" on Studio3000 Records by Jens Lissat, which immediately entered the Beatport Top100 Techno Charts. As well as his second release "SURCHARGE", also on Studio3000 Records. In 2022 he released "IN MY MIND", the next chart topper on Studio3000 Records. With his Acid Mix of "TAKE MY BODY" on TCP Records he sniffed the top 10 air in the Beatport Techno Hype Charts for the first time with position 8. Every year he plays in various camps at the Camping Village of Nature One.
