Pushing for a genotypically rugged and uncompromising sound, rife with nods to the Birmingham scene and Berlin’s brutalist 90s vibe, Yonti has us traversing chaotic landscapes where stripped-back body-jackers rub shoulders with further subliminal heaters, and harsh winds blow across Bauhausian sound architectonics with unrelenting grit. A smooth, well-crafted hour of techno from none other than long-time legend Answer Code Request. Known for his innovative approach, characterised by a fusion of pad-driven harmonies, intricate breaks and an industrial tone. Born in the East German town of Fürstenwalde, his musical roots were planted deep during a transformative period marked by the fall of the Berlin Wall when he was just 9 years old. Growing up alongside Marcel Dettmann and Marcel Fengler, he explored Berlin's dynamic post-reunification club scene and began mixing vinyls from Hardwax and Delirium which contributed to the development of his signature sound, a blend of jungle, drum 'n' bass, Detroit, IDM and UK bass.
