My cover of Joy Division's track 'Isolation'. A personal favourite, this song means a lot to me, and I covered it in passing, not meaning to have devoted as much time as I did to recording and arranging my own cover.

A demo of one of my original songs 'Thighs', there isn't much of an interesting story behind it beyond me and a friend discovering a chord that could 'raise the sea level by a couple of feet', which I based a progression around and sang some lyrics I had written a LOOOOOONG time before.
I recently recorded a studio version of this track, but until that is mixed and ready for release, the only variant I have for public release is this one.

Thighs

A song made famous during the wartime by Vera Lynn, a song I felt was appropriate for staying positive, for keeping a stiff upper lip and for staying confident over the past week of surreal horror. 
This song initially stirred positivity in the fact that no amount of terror could ever tear down England's vitality, a message that didn't need mentioning to Manchester, as we power on, unstopped, unthreatened and undeterred by angry little men and their angry little thoughts.
I have never been prouder to be Manc and felt compelled to the upmost, in that any recording I did this month that was not dedicated to the city I love, would be a grave disrespect.

There'll Always Be An England

A cover of Oasis' Cigarettes and Alcohol. Possibly my most complex harmony attempt to date, due in no small part to the added confidence that cider can give a man.
