After a long intermission, Brambles is finally back with ’Spirits’. Since their last album, ‘Charcoal' (2012), the sound palette has shifted dramatically but the moody and melancholic qualities that made their previous release so resonant remain deeply embedded.

With 'Spirits’ Brambles has put vocals to the forefront using a combination of their own voice and an array of samples that have been shifted, warped and blended into an otherworldly language. Influenced as much by dream pop as experimental electronic music, Brambles strives to find the middle ground between pop and ambient.
