This is my audio contribution to Sound Photography theme by Cities And Memory global collaborative sound project, which is encompassing field recording, sound art and sound mapping. 

Sound Photography is the biggest ever worldwide artistic interaction between photographers and sound artists, covering 34 countries and six continents with sound pieces inspired by photographs.

My soundscape inspired by the above vibrating singing bowls that can be used for meditation and healing practices. This picture was taken at the warehouse of Silver Sky Imports, by Tony Bartlels, with a collection of some of the largest grounding bowls, including the very largest in the center.

Campana lingam di antica manifattura. Il suo aspetto grezzo e il suo colore intenso sono una rarità perché le campane di questa tipologia normalmente sono moderne. La sua misura è molto grande e questo è un elemento di ulteriore pregio e singolarità. È uno strumento molto adatto a chi lavora con gruppi perché la potenza del suo suono raggiunge tutti in profondità. Mi sento di raccomandare questa campana perché la forza dell'energia maschile congiunta a quella femminile che è specifica delle lingam, in questo caso si coniuga con la bellezza di una forma antica e raffinata. Un altro elemento di particolare bellezza è una scritta in antichi caratteri i corsivi che è incisa sulla cassa, probabilmente il nome del proprietario.
