Lately, I heard from a lot of people that they really love my sound. But I also hear from time to time, that my music is missing some bass. When I came home this Saturday, I instantly turned on my players and mixer and recorded this spontaneous DJ-Set; focused on BBB (BumBumBum) and more tonal Techno. And unlike usual, I celebrated the typical "indu holes" in a proper way.

I would particularly like to mention the track „From Dusk till Down“ by my friends and @0815technodopaminmangel Dj colleagues @kumani93 and @hlunkentechno79 that you can hear in my set from around 7:00.

Mitte Januar haben die befreundeten DJs (i.o.o.a.) @ramuthraofficial, @user-783001264, @user-900925194, @hlunkentechno79, Tixotrop (@alexmiesmusic B2B @thor-adam), @sbm2020 nach dem offiziellen Birthday Rave von @mandyray_official 18 Stunden lang die Raver-Gemeinde mit bestem Techno versorgt. Fast 1.500 Viewer haben sich das Spektakel angesehen.

Tixotrop @ Mandy Ray's After Birthday Stream

Mein Solo-Beitrag zum ersten „Diversity Techno Stream - presented by Mandy Ray & Thor Adam“. 
Weil meiner Co-Veranstalterin @mandyray_official der Bootleg-Teil (etwa bei Minute 0:50:00) besonders gut gefallen hat, habe ich spontan einen kleinen „Pop-Musik-Teil“ eingeschoben.

Und weil mein Mid-20jähriger Nachbar sich bei unserer Musiklautstärke von unter 60dB lärmbelästigt gefühlt hatte und uns die Polizei auf den Hals schicken wollte, habe ich während deren Anwesenheit direkt den Diversity Klassiker „Rise like a Phoenix“ der Grand Prix Gewinnerin Conchita Wurst als Rausschmeißer angestimmt.

Die Beamten konnten übrigens keine Lärmbelästigung feststellen.

Die Geschichte zum Track:
In der Nacht von Sonntag auf Montag habe ich mit 3 Freuden einen Tunnel-Rave im Kölner Norden besucht. Die DJs hatten besondere Freunde daran, einen Bootleg nach dem anderen zu spielen. „Pop-Musik mit bumbumbum“, wie ich es genannt hatte. Nach gut 2 Stunden habe ich die Veranstaltung verlassen, die anderen 3 Mit-Raver folgten jeweils im Stundentakt. Je nach persönlicher Vorliebe für diese Art von Musik. 
Um die Wartezeit auf meine Mitstreiter sinnvoll zu nutzen, habe ich einen kleinen Bootleg in Erinnerung an diese denkwürdige Party produziert. 

Als am kommenden Tag einige Raver-Freunde versammelt waren, durften diese die „Welturaufführung“ von „Mamma boom boom Mia“ miterleben. 
Eine Raverin (die nicht mitgekriegt hatte, dass dies ein brandneuer Bootleg von mir ist), wollte nach gut 30 Sekunden direkt zum DJ Pult gehen, um sich Namen des Tracks ab zu fotografieren. So einer positiven Reaktion hat mich total überrascht. Den Track habe ich einfach nur ein bißchen aus Spaß zusammen gebastelt. Aber wegen dieses Begeisterungsausbruches darf der Bootleg, anders als geplant, nun doch in die Welt hinausstahlen.

Auch nach über 24 Stunden bin ich immer noch überwältigt von den Eindrücken der B-LOW(@user-855512768). Besonders davon, wie weit ihr mit meiner Musik mitgegangen seit. Das hätte ich (zumindest zu so einem frühen Zeitpunkt) in Köln nicht zu träumen gewagt. Techno also hat doch eine große Fangemeinde.

Der Bergwerkstollen in Recklinghausen erscheint einem fast wie ein Kirchenschiff. Nur viel größer. Zeitgenössischer #Industrial und #AcidTechno in einer Umgebung, die akustisch bereits vor über 100 Jahren scheinbar genau für diese Musik gemacht worden ist.

Making them dance.
FIrst 160 minutes of my 4.5 hours set at Connection Club in Berlin one day before New Years Eve. Made me proud, that three guys keept dancing together from the first minute for over 1.5 hours. But I am even more proud that one single guy stayed on the dance floor for 3.5 hours with just minimal interruptions.
