She is resident and co-founder of Aberdeen’s Fierce Collective, a group who promote other womxn/nb DJs and producers and nurture those wanting to learn. Thought Criminal hosts the Fierce Collective radio show 8-10pm, second Monday of the month on www.mixhitradio.co.uk, and is a resident on Fierce on FNOOB every 4th Wednesday on www.fnoobtechno.com. Both shows feature womxn and nb DJs and producers of all genres from around the world, with a complimentary mix from Thought Criminal.  
Thought Criminal organises the Fierce club nights in Aberdeen, which combine womxn and nb DJs with live art.  She is a resident at Aberdeen's Binary School/Binary Trax- a club night and label showcasing local electronic music producers and also at Aphrodite, Aberdeen's queer dance party. Sadly, along with the DJ skill-shares, all these nights are on a long pause due to Covid-19, but Thought Criminal is a healthcare worker so she’s kinda busy at the moment anyway!

We feel much love and respect for her projects, the @fiercecollective in particular, which we urge you to check. Being seasoned techno lovers and academics who have a background in the health sector also connects us. We thank Thought Criminal for taking the time out of her busy schedule to participate in this project. Her interview reminded us why we deemed it necessary to keep a record of this period. We were moved by the depth and intensity of her report since it speaks to us on many levels. Again, a massive thanks for all your hard work, both within the techno scene and outside of it. Thought Criminal is a multi-genre DJ from Aberdeen in Scotland, best known for high-energy
vinyl mixes of hard, bouncy rave/industrial/acid/oldskool techno. She’s been DJing since last
century, but recently she’s closed the main room at Mash House in Edinburgh for Epika,
Dirty as Funk’s Halloween Castle in Dundee, and The Lick (somewhere in Fife) and has done
live-streams, podcasts and radio mixes for collectives all over the world.
Thought Criminal is resident and co-founder of Aberdeen’s Fierce Collective, a group who
promote other womxn/nb DJs and producers and provide DJ skills workshops. She hosts the
two Fierce Collective radio shows, which feature womxn and nb DJs and producers, and
organises the Fierce club nights in Aberdeen, which combine womxn and nb DJs with live
art.
She is also a resident at Aberdeen&#39;s Binary School/Binary Trax, a club night and label
showcasing local electronic music producers, and Aphrodite, Aberdeen&#39;s queer dance party;
and is a member of the international female:pressure network.

This is a hard acid & industrial techno vinyl mix of music produced by womxn and non-binary artists. Many of the most talented, successful and respected producers in this scene are womxn/nb artists- they make up almost 50% of Thought Criminal's digital hard/acid/industrial music collection. Sadly, there is still a massive gender (and every other system of oppression) bias in the vinyl market. Respect to the labels actively trying to fix that.

Life Form is a Cheshire based producer and DJ, experimenting in sound pan-genre sound having produced everything from Hip-Hop to Ambient. "Ethereal cosmic soundscapes" - UK Hip-Hop. Heard on Circle8 radio & DNB heaven.

With releases on Neon Krishna, DNBR Records, Creative Records, Underwater Computing and Gold on the Mixer Records. His latest release 'Astral Temple' will be released on Underwater Computing this year.

Life Form continues his mix series with this latest foray into Gqom. Having released Footwork, Downtempo & Autonomic mixes last year. This is the first in the 2021 series.

Kiernan Laveaux is a non-binary energy conduit & healing DJ from the Great Lakes.

Originating as one of the driving forces behind @IN-TRAINING, a long running queer event series founded in Cleveland Ohio in 2014, she materialized through the rhythms of life & her loved ones that reflect the rustbelt environment she was birthed from.

Inspired by her friends, the experimentalism and joy found within midwestern electronic music, and the forces that gifted her the name Kiernan Laveaux, she's since embarked on a lifelong journey of communicating through the sounds of the mother drum. She now exists only to channel warmth and understanding to dancers of open mind and spirit everywhere."

Nexus and Techno.fm resident Loss Function's techno sets defy categorisation. With influences drawn from a couple of decades raving across the UK and Europe - he plays rave-influenced techno from the harder end of the spectrum, but making sure the groove stays high.

He's been holding down hugely well-received regular sets at Nexus and on Nexus radio over the last couple of years, and with guestmixes, DJ gigs and festival slots across the UK and abroad over the past year (including gigs in Bucharest, Stockholm and Berlin) and upcoming - his signature style is deservedly getting a wider airing.

Fil Devious is a DJ & Producer from Conwy North Wales who has a passion for all things Techno!

Hard work in the studio has started to pay off earning him support from the likes of A.P, Chris Von Deer, Distek, FUDA, Kingkade, Wetworks amongst others. His music has found his way onto respected labels such as 212 Records UK, Filth Infatuated, My Mind Records & Urban Chaos Records.

Fil also co runs Direct Waveform with T.o.M a monthly radio show on Fnoob.

[ FIERCE COLLECTIVE ]

Thought Criminal is a multi-genre DJ, best known for energetic vinyl mixes of bouncy industrial/acid/oldskool techno. She is resident and co-founder of Aberdeen’s Fierce Collective, a group who promote other womxn/nb DJs and producers and nurture those wanting to learn.

Thought Criminal hosts the Fierce Collective radio show 8-10pm, second Monday of the month on www.mixhitradio.co.uk, and Fierce on FNOOB every 4th Wednesday on www.fnoobtechno.com. Both shows feature womxn and nb DJs and producers from around the world.

Thought Criminal organises the Fierce club nights in Aberdeen, which combine womxn and nb DJs with live art. She is a resident at Aberdeen's Binary School/Binary Trax- a club night and label showcasing local electronic music producers and also at Aphrodite, Aberdeen's queer dance party.

Thought Criminal is a multi-genre DJ from Aberdeen in Scotland, best known for high-energy vinyl mixes of hard, bouncy rave/industrial/acid/oldskool techno. She plays at clubs and parties all over Scotland and has featured on live-streams, podcasts and radio shows for collectives all over the world. 
Thought Criminal is resident and co-founder of Aberdeen’s Fierce Collective, a group who promote other womxn/nb DJs and producers and provide DJ skills workshops. She hosts the two Fierce Collective radio shows, which feature womxn and nb DJs and producers, and organises the Fierce club nights in Aberdeen, which combine womxn and nb DJs with live art.  
She is also a resident at Aberdeen's Binary School/Binary Trax, a club night and label showcasing local electronic music producers, and Aphrodite, Aberdeen's queer dance party; and is a member of the international female:pressure network.
