It is no matter of what he puts in his music as long as he makes his audiance to enjoy his music and make them emotional he did a better job than creating complex  symphony with a lot of criterias, but without any audiance who enjoys it.

I've been on a total Witcher 3 kick as of late. The game and soundtrack are just phenomenal. While listening to the OST, something struck me about the song "Silver for Monsters" and the song "The Fields of Ard Skellig."
