"People Would Say" was just a couple words, an idea, when I finished up last years album so consider it an "other song" for purposes of this release! A conversation with a friend about finding music so late in my life led to this song. I should have finished it sooner, it's a personal favorite!

On March 11th, 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic. To minimize the rate of new infections and to prevent health institutions from overloading, most European countries went into lockdown, this included closure of all non-essential Businesses, Shops, Schools, Colleges and Universities.  
Lockdown was an invisible enemy that striked hard on the mental health of the most fragile people and hit hard on the most vulnerable women, children and men that relied on group support. Institutions for drug addiction, alcoholism, domestic abuse could not provid face to face meetings or personal one to one surpport.
Loved ones couldnt say their final goodbyes to family members who died as funerals were not allowed. Even children, who suddenly became ill during this time, found themselves alone in hospitals as parents weren't allowed to go with them. 
Will we ever come out of the lockdown we have imprisoned ourselves in fear of one another?
