lllyana is a producer, DJ and a fashion designer originating from Oulu, now residing in Helsinki. Their musical vision is a mix of different experimental dance music genres with a keen sense for storytelling and expressiveness.

'Secretion' EP is an unapologetic, unfiltered ejaculation bursting from Illyana's guts. A mothership powered by a pink vibrator buzzing in the vast fullness of space. A mosaic of sounds and voices ranging from cat purrs to Finnish hymns and medieval chants, audio books to random field recordings, personal sex tapes to cinema. An unsparing hyposensibilization for the anxious mind and restless heart.

02/2020 STRONG EMOTIONS CALL FOR CREATION

♡This is my first recorded mix and it was born early in the morning after staying up all night stressing about wanting to record a piece that tells smth about myself as a DJ and simultaneously having a strong need to process a multitude of emotions from shattering grief to hope to fly away from a self made mass extinction to another galaxy to build a soft anarchist post-human utopia.
It’s a short story with multiple chapters on diverse topics that were circling in my head at the time.
