Amandra, half head honcho behind Ahrpe Records, goes for subtly evolving and droning atmospheres. With releases spanning both a wide range of electronic genres and record labels: Nous'klaer Audio, AD 93, Tikita or Semantica, just to name a few; the French producer based in Toulouse illustrates with coherence his own vision of acid and tribal rhythms that can be presented with either bright and soft feelings or through a darker, more disturbed path.

Brera Som Som EP
As always with Amandra, there is a blend of poetic and soft hidden touch given to the music through carefully crafted personal track names. Brera Som Som is a 4-tracker EP, recorded back when he lived in Warsaw Poland, showcasing the artist's ability to navigate through niche genres. It comes as a double 12" package cherry-topped with four intelligent and eclectic remixes from artists with their own unique identity: Shielding, Whylie, Martinou and Brainwaltzera.

Both from Perú, Orieta Chrem, a Peruvian DJ, producer, and sound engineer, explores experimental sounds and broken rhythms on the dance floor, drawing from Peru’s ancestral heritage while redefining Latin club and electronic music. With Medallion Man having no laptop or records, and consequently no ready tunes, after a messy weekend in Leeds, the show took a slightly different format with the interview section kicking off the show. It worked a treat, leading to an incredibly intriguing chat.
