Straight from Sheffield, @unpersonuk’s mix is an arcane of styles, and feels like he’s deconstructing electro-acoustic experimentations to their deepest roots. From grimy ghetto verses dissolving over native folk chants, to improvised jazz cuts blended together with grunge noises, Jake digs ambidance prototypes, percussive field recordings and Asian strings, making unexpected choices between niche artists and inedit productions. Worth the attention of @crackmagazine, @bleep_bot and DJ Python’s show on @rinsefm, his productions are a mindful collage of both sampled and synthetic sound-crafts.
