The idea is to make you dream about other worlds. To wonder about the story behind the music. An opportunity to explore my latest digs, the history of my favourite sounds, rarities from my archive, and to invite some special guests. For this first show, I went with the flow and picked some brainy, deep tunes. Intelligent music to dance to and to think to."

"Machines, Dreams and Rhythm is a podcast to explore music from a fantasy point of view. A homage to the machines and the history of electronic music, and the thoughts and feelings we get as a result. This doesn't mean I will present music only from the past but also new sounds that evoke the feeling of travel in time and being shrouded by sound. Is very difficult to explain this criteria but a way to put it is to say that is linked to technology, future, IDM, experimental/avantgarde, deep and space sound, and research of renowned figures or movements in the history of music.

Today's show in @threadsradio is entitled: 'A Journey through Japanese Sounds Pt. 1'.

Electronic music wouldn't be what it is today without the innovations of Japan after the Second World War. From anime to music electronics, Japan revolutionised the world and the infinite possibilities of imagination.

Music is a vast world, and I couldnt play a lot of the music I wanted in just 1 hour but this is just the first of an upcoming series of music exploration in Japan and around the world.

I tried to not talk so much in the show so you can enjoy the music and make the research by yourself since it's a very fun thing to do."

How does it feel to inhabit the dreams of the machines? Are they haunted by nightmares, echoes of dystopian visions, or do they resonate with the harmonious rhythms of utopian possibilities? This is the enigma we explore today. 

As we delve into the depths of these machine-induced reveries, we find ourselves pondering the very essence of their existence and the uncanny parallels to our own human experience. A sonic journey into the mysterious realm of connected circuits and electronic dreams.

In this inaugural dream, we navigate through the various phases of REM, traversing landscapes of ambient IDM, the hypnotic echoes of acid, and the intricate tapestry of modular synth compositions. These sonic landscapes serve as the backdrop to the machine's nocturnal musings, offering glimpses into a world where artificial intelligence contemplates its own existence.

 The dreams of the machines, veiled in the ethereal sounds of synthesisers, beckon us to explore the intricate tapestry of our shared reality. Are we mere observers, or do we play a role in the dreamscape of the circuits? Until then, let the electronic rhythms guide you through the corridors of dreams, where the boundaries between man and machine blur into an indistinguishable dance of existence.

These acid machines, like digital alchemists, transform the toxic sludge into sound, crafting eerie melodies and distorted beats. Acid rain, spawned from the machines' emissions, drums a relentless rhythm on crumbling rooftops. Amidst this synthetic chaos, humanity's remnants dance, lost in the hypnotic embrace of an acid-soaked reality.
