The sumo exercise where each leg in succession is lifted as high and as straight as possible, and then brought down to stomp on the ground with considerable force. In training this may be repeated hundreds of times in a row. Shiko is also performed ritually to drive away demons before each bout and as part of the yokozuna dohyō-iri.

Hello and welcome!  My name is Louie and I create sonic explorations under the name MediSynth.  

The sound scapes are created using a blending of ancient and modern sounds to guide take you through a journey of deep meditation. Combining traditional instruments like gongs, cymbals, bowls, native flute, and didgeridoo with contemporary tools such as synthesizers, electric and bass guitars, drum machines, and a variety of effects pedals.  

My music creates a dynamic, moving soundscape designed to assist in reaching meditation and a deeper understanding of your true essence through connecting to your spirit.
