I got to catch up with my dear friend Nick Larsen to talk about his beautiful song "Moving Past" from his project/band called Monolog.

When not being solo singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, Nick plays drums in an incredible rock band called ExactlyNo and from time to time will share the stage and studio with myself on bass as the rhythm section for Nashville's hottest Americana/Country duo Megan and Shane!

What's so special about this episode is that between the time we recorded it and the final mix, Nick went back into the studio to cut a refreshed version of the song. Both versions are great and have their own character, but you decide which one you like more if you don't absolutely love them both!

I am very excited to share this epidsode with you all! I had the good fortune to get Jake Rose and Dan Garland from New Medicine on the show to talk about their latest single, "Past The Past".

It was so much fun to get the backstory on their amazing journey starting from how they came about in high school to where they are today.

I personally found this to be an enlightening and inspiring conversation about the DIY spririt at its core, and how the only thing truly limiting our potential for success, is ourselves.
