For the first release of 2022, we are pleased to welcome Amsterdam- based Romanian Alex Preda, who already participated in Odd Echoes Vol. 3, and this time, he presents his debut EP  ̈Moons & Stars ̈ on the label with a fabulous remix by Lexer.

The Preda sound has developed over the years, with his taste developing into the electronic sounds of the likes of Jean Michel Jarre and Vangelis in his teens, into his signature driving techno. 

Always with an element of warmth and melody underneath and has evolved into integrating live elements into his performances, something Alex has been perfecting over the years.

The lead track Might Be Love ft. Katty Heath, is the perfect opener, full of groove and catchy melodies, that play along with the fx lead vocal, creating a super club piece.

Lexer approaches the reinterpretation of the lead track, adding new and catchy melodies, synthesizers and textures, giving his well-known stamp and taking the version to his own terrain.

Delving deeper into the EP, we find more of Alex's signature sound, but with a deeper and more emotional touch as shown in  ̈Don't Move" where the focus is on the beautiful chords that make the perfect match with the celestial synth melodies.

To close the EP we have “Searching” which is also another dance floor oriented track, fitted especially to turn the heat on the on any set. And last but not least, “Away from IT” is the perfect electronica/breaks closing track to round up this special EP.

PREMIERE: Lunar Plane - Imperium (Original Mix) [Stil Vor Talent]

'Returning to Sprout is the amazing Marcus Meinhardt with Rabbit Hole featuring a classy remix from Stereo Express. 

Ever the musical butterfly, Meinhardt makes music that defies genre classification and oozes sophistication. Signed to a disparate array of labels from Kittball to Micro.Fon, he's always in the boxes of the big ticket DJs and never fails to impress. 'Rabbit Hole' opens in fine form with sparse percussion and a bubbling bass line making way for intricate melodic patterns. Growing organically tension builds towards the break with Vangelis-like layers of synthwork adding a futuristic 80s feel. On the remix, Stereo Express take it deeper teasing out the main motifs over two breaks which develops into a monster mid-set groover.'

Our French brother Rafael Cerato returns to Eleatics with the smashing 'Further' release with the beauteous leading voice of Liu Bei.
The title track is the emotional and contemporaneously lyric grounded song, which will find it's place for peak time moments.
German duo Hidden Empire (Stil Vor Talent, Octopus, Senso Sounds) are rolling out the original through the hypnotic extent of harmonies and Liu's voice.
'Elixir' starts with the firm bass of Rafael: progressive shaded, but while groove filled at the same time.
Arpeggios including 'Nuclea' is closing the pack, forming another great release by Rafael on our list, so be sure to get your attention on it.
