Curating their second release on the newly established independent imprint TAU, the Adana Twins are keen to support the best up-and-coming talent from a saturated DJ/Producer market. The second release showcases yet another rising star; Paris-based, Romanian born - BOg.

BOg first broke onto the electronic music landscape after being signed to John Digweed’s ‘Bedrock Records’. 12-years down the line he’s released on Dixon’s Innervisions & Solomun’s Diynamic, BOg is a constant in the record bags of DJs across the globe. Drawing strong influences from bands and artists such as Depeche Mode, The Prodigy, Aphex Twin or The Chemical Brothers, BOg’s ‘Terra EP’ has an evident other-worldly feel.

Innellea returns to TAU002 this time on remix duties, remixing ‘Terra’ and further cementing his position as a core artist on TAU. The B-side remix of ‘Jahar’ comes from Mathias Schober, chosen for the Adana Twins love his sound design and aesthetic, the producer delivers a remix rounding off the solid ‘Terra’ EP.

'The Dutch upcoming artist Colyn (@colynmusic) is the one who puts a stamp on the third EP of Infinite Depth. With two spacey and great mixed originals he laid more than a good foundation for the remixers. The title track ‘Passengers’ got remixed by the French brothers Esoteric Circle (@esotericircle) and the second original ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ got infused by the one and only Erly Tepshi (@erlyofficial).  

With the first track ‘Passengers’ the EP immediately starts off pretty determined. Soon the firm kick gets accompanied by a some pounding drums and well placed spacey synths, sounding like passengers finding their way through our universe chased by those thrilling drum sounds. 

Esoteric Circle managed to take the thrilling part of the original to a higher level with their remix. The spacey synths are making place for an appealing melody which increases the tension. This tension holds on till the very end of the track.

After being in a continuous state of space and tenseness the third track ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ adds some euphory. With its compelling break and hypnotical plucks it keeps you in a higher state of mind.  

Erly Tepshi’s remix takes you even a little bit higher by using this compelling melody as main flow through his remix. Only this flow makes some unexpected changes at the points Erly injected his typical, sometimes even distorted, plucked synths. With a heavy a breakdown almost at the end of the track this remix brings the EP to an end.'

'With much pride we present our second release of the year, coming from 'Dutch wonderboy' Beswerda who makes his debut on the label with a solid dark melodic techno EP including remixes from VNTM (who released his “Wanderer at night EP” recently on WEITER), and the talented Erly Tepshi. 

  Beswerda, who recently released music on Tronic, Pursuit and Infinite Depth, has been on Olivier Weiter’s radar for quite some time.  Both tracks have been personal favorites from Weiter since a while, being a highlight in every DJ set. Powerful, steady grooves combined with dark, melodic elements. Hypnotizing people from the start, both tracks dive into a euphoric breakdown, kicking in strong with a surprising melody afterwards. Beswerda’s signature sound can be heard clearly in both records - while listening to the tracks you just know this is going to work on the dance floor.'

The 'Original Mix' of "Ekata" by Framewerk was a massive hit played throughout the winter. With it's overall summery feel we decided to get in some remixes and give it a new lease of life in the warmer months.
First up on remix duties is Eleven Sins who creates a full on club offering. Here he lets all the elements shine through - a unique percussive bass provides the drive; layers of vocal chants and warm strings add the euphoria.
Opening tracks are not easy to come by but with Kandar's take on Ekata he has provided the perfect set starter (or closer) to any worthwhile progressive house set.
Last but not least, Shunus shows off his production prowess with some superbly crafted percussion. Adding a rich warm bass and clever use of the vocal his mix is not to be missed.

‘The Secret Of Eos’ started with one of those special requests: Tale Of Us asked the Italian duo for something special for their weekly opening sets at Hi, Ibiza. The track was delivered and it became a key staple of their sets all summer.

You can instantly hear why; that crisp arpeggio, those lush shimmering pipes, the poignant chords and stunning vocal. A true scene-pace-tone setter, drop this and watch the whole crowd lock-in en masse as they submit to the journey… A journey that can be extended and manipulated to your pleasure thanks to the beatless version which highlights the musical versatility of the track and how it lends itself to any sets in the house/techno/progressive/trance axis.

For the final track of this remarkable EP we head far east for ‘Japan’. A much darker tale told by Daniele Aprile and Mario Roberti, this one firms our focus squarely on that lava-like bassline that morphs, mutates and melts throughout the track, taking us deeper and deeper into Fideles’ signature rabbit hole, to places unchartered.
