Cologne-born producer CAY makes a bold first step towards his debut album with the release of ‘Far Light / Can’t Live Without You’, landing on 10th October on Mind Against’s HABITAT label. The two-track single introduces listeners to the world of ‘Another Life’, a deeply personal project that will arrive to close January 2026.
On ‘Far Light’, CAY threads widescreen melodies and powerful low-end with the emotional vocal intensity that defines his sound, capturing a balance of melancholic euphoria and forward drive. ‘Can’t Live Without You’ reveals another side of his artistry, once again weaving captivating vocals into a tense yet vulnerable groove, offering a first glimpse of the intimacy that runs through his forthcoming album.
CAY ‘Far Light / Can’t Live Without You’ drops via HABITAT on 10th October 2025, with his debut album ‘Another Life’ set for release in January 2026.

Get Physical Music proudly announces the return of its landmark Body Language series with Volume 27, curated by Dutch producer Helsloot. The album will be released on November 14th, with a launch event on November 13th at Amsterdam’s Melkweg.

At the heart of Get Physical’s ethos has been Body Language, a cultural marker within electronic music for over two decades making it one of the longest-standing and impactful mix series tied to a label. Each volume a deliberate projection serving as both clubland cartography and singular artistic perspective.

What began as a pioneering DJ mix series has evolved into a platform for artist albums, each edition offering a snapshot of underground currents and their future directions. Past curators have included Dixon, DJ Hell, WhoMadeWho, Francesco Tristano, Monkey Safari, Yulia Niko, and the label’s founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y..

Since its founding in 2002, Get Physical has embodied a taut, moving aesthetic; when the European electronic sound was fragmenting, the label balanced on the argumentative axis of club culture with Body Language serving not only as archival, but as a unifying thread.

An early platform for cross-genre experimentation, Body Language has long celebrated the permeability of dance music. From Matthew Dear’s minimalist pop fusions to WhoMadeWho’s blend of disco and indie aesthetics, each edition has expanded the vocabulary of what club music can be.

That willingness to stretch the form is part of why both Get Physical and Body Language continue to resonate today.

Volume 27 marks a significant moment in the series’ progression. Helsloot brings his emotive, melodic house sound to the format; a style that has earned him over 600 million streams on his breakout track “Because You Move Me” with Tinlicker, as well as releases on Anjunadeep, Domino, This Never Happened, and Ritter Butzke. His debut album “Never Tried” (2024) displayed his melodic instincts and further positioned him as a producer capable of balancing precision with deep emotional resonance.

Terra Escura, condenses the project's sound identity with intensity and focus. Amidst dense layers and a nocturnal atmosphere, Ritornello prints pulsating riffs that traverse atmospheres. The introspection marks his aesthetic.

The ambiance is raw, rough, with textures that refer to rust and desolate mental landscapes. The techno structure remains firm and breathes between noises and silences.

Where the first single unveiled CAY’s cinematic scope and emotional vulnerability, this follow-up sharpens the focus and offers nuanced dancefloor energy with layers of space and release. ‘Give Me Something’ rides a propulsive, breaks-influenced groove with hypnotic synth layers and sweeping vocals, while ‘Found You’ reveals a more introspective mood, folding tumbling melodies into a deep, melancholic yet soulful framework. Together, the two tracks expand the picture of ‘Another Life’: a record that connects club intensity with personal storytelling, bridging the space between euphoria and fragility.

Biography:

Gonçalo Costa is the name behind the project GC System, born on 10/01/1986, in Portugal.

Always connected to electronic music since he was a child, his interest grew fast and, in the end of 2008, started to buying softwares and hardwares for producing music, which led him to produce his own tracks, editing for the first time in 2012.

Whether in his solo or collaborative efforts, GC System has always been a maverick presence in underground dance culture and he believes that the inspiration can come from anywhere and that’s why he is open to all types of Electronic Music.

Their sound is driven by psychedelic beats and synthetic bass lines with a single purpose...to make people dance!!
