"South of France based artists Jeremy Labille and Pierre Matelli aka Fathers choose Addicted Music for their second EP.

The EP kicks off with "Orme", a title evoking both a melody made of flutes, subtly arpeggios and a dark and melancholic groove. Erly Tepshi chose to add a personal touch to this piece, focusing it more in a Techno style with a dancefloor aspect.
The second title of the EP, Norse, offers a melody full of hope as Fathers knows how to do, allied to a very specific rhythmic which gives a very charismatic piece.
Finally, Opale plunges us into a surprising universe including a bass more threatening, always added to a melody made of pad lines and shimmering harmonies.

PREMIERE: Fathers - Orme (Original Mix) [Addicted Music]

After his „Essenza EP“ in early 2016, Andy Bros is back with a new release on Diynamic Music - the "Midnight Love EP". 
Kicking off is dark and moody title track “Midnight Love”, a hypnotic Techno anthem. Next up “Family Ritual”, a House track with emotive String arrangements, which have been live recorded by Johannes Brecht at Red Bull Studios Berlin.
Closing off the EP is “Hilltop Town”, a romantic Deep House burner for end-of-night moments on the dancefloor.

An artist who epitomises the modern underground dance industry, Michael A is as gifted as is he is affable. Returning to Proton Music for fourth original EP in the space of twelve months, it is a genuine honour to welcome him back to the label with "Aura Tears".

From the central-southern city of Mazyr, rich in natural resources, Mikhail Akulich has mined from a rich seam of talent through his Michael A moniker. One of his country's most exciting talents, the Belarusian producer continues to find himself at the vanguard of the underground scene with his distinctive blend of "progressive house and techno". A prolific artist, some 650 production credits sit proudly next to the Michael A name; a profound achievement given a commercial debut with a clutch of original releases for Sterofaza and Fluro Music in mid-2012.

Since then a panoply of original and remix production material has been within the catalogues of some of the finest modern independent imprints, not least in the February 2017 "Micrologica" EP for Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat plus work for Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital and Cid Inc.'s Replug. Further original work for Mango Alley has also seen a high-profile remix from Australian icon, Jamie Stevens, while Akulich has also founded his own Genesis Music imprint to great effect and a regular vehicle for his production work. Hitting the Particles catalogues in late 2013, 2014's "Behind The Moon" was a notable highlight, as was March 2017's "Sapphire". Hitting Proton Music at the same time, a trio of original EPs have been spread across 2017 with "Bright Hope", "Symbol" and "My Style" all worthy of appearance on the flagship label. Now, Michael A returns to Proton with another original offering in the shape of "Aura Tears".

The title track is a beautifully sculpted piece that blossoms into a pulsating and driving anthem that is a perfect example of modern underground progressive house. Richly textured, floating pads and shining melody reveal themselves fully in the stripped breakdown before reaching a crescendo in the third movement, while a glorious bassline progression adds genuine purpose and interest in a work of great skill.

Revelling in similar melodic themes to its predecessor, "Ciklus One" is founded upon a strong rhythmic framework that supplies dancefloor interest in off-beat percussive cadence. Simultaneously a deep bass groove sparks low-end electricity while intelligent spacing within the mix and across the stereo spectrum highlights technique and mature production craft.

The final track continues the melodic tropes of earlier work as textured pads and shimmering motifs emerge over the seven-minute journey that coruscates brilliantly at the mid-point breakdown. Binding rhythm and melody together with bassline glue, a sublime groove keeps dynamism high accompanied by deep kick and ticking percussion.

Three new tracks find tears of joy rooted in Michael A's aura.

Kapibara is not only a chill and funny looking South American mammal, it's also a chill and genius producer/dj trio from The Netherlands.

The opening song is a true club banger! The melodic synth sounds go along well with the mysterious pads and leads into a big build-up. The drop after the exciting break delivers pure energy and the dramatic synth adds only extra prestige to this tremendous track.

Narwal shows the groovy side of these Dutch masters of melodies. Clear percussion elements and synth-hits are mixed nicely with that catchy long-stretched synth melody. Our good friend Ivan Masa delivered the remix of Narwal and continued on their vibe, resulting in a neat melodic house hit, watch the charts!

PREMIERE: Kapibara - Irukandji (Original Mix) [Atmosphere Records]

2019 sees the introduction of a new ATLANT concept in the first of our Re-WIRED series, which presents a track from our back catalogue to different artists who take the circuitry, stems and elements apart - to create something new fresh and innovative.

Thodoris Triantafillou’s original of ‘Scorn’ garnered attention from a host of DJs in 2018, with the likes of Solomun, Black Coffee, Adana Twins and John Digweed all featuring the infectious vocal in live sets and radio shows. Given Scorn’s genre crossing popularity it seemed the logical choice to remix and Jonas Rathsman, Night Talk and Prop & Ganda all demonstrate creativity and diversity in their approach.

First up is Sweden’s Jonas Rathsman [ELEMENTS] with his intricate and unique take on ‘Scorn’. Even though Jonas fuses many layers there is always a complete sense of space throughout this mini opus. Buzzing lines, simmering arps, clanging organic percussives and chopped up vox awaken your senses as deep bass, a nagging groove, modal diatonic chords and a momentous breakdown engulf you. The off kilter keys and use of the iconic vocal throughout make this the perfect mood setter.

Already part of the ATLANT family, Switzerland’s Night Talk returns to the label fresh from the ATL020 Moran EP and releases on his AYM label, plus MoBlack. Lukas’s remix is a dark classy 4/4 synth infused builder, using the vocal to increase the drama alongside jagged lines and stirring FX before emotional flowing keys enter for a driving sustained dance-floor barrage. Plus the DJ friendly outro is perfect for extended looped musical transitions.

This maiden Re-WIRED journey completes a perfect circle bringing ‘Scorn’ back to Greece via Prop & Ganda, who have close links to Thodoris Triantafillou’s Glory Hill Studio under the hill of the ancient Acropolis citadel. With a real dusk vibe Prop & Ganda have produced a pure club gem that froths away, unleashing menacing arps and heavy bass. The ‘Scorn’ vocal is used to full effect, especially in a breakdown that make you imagine your hands are raised, feeling the cool night air on your fingers amongst a hot intense crowd all swaying in unison to the beats.


All three of these remixes have been road tested by ATLANT impresario BOg from Tel Aviv and Beirut to Kiev and Odessa. It’s safe to say that all three re-imaginings work brilliantly. So it’s a huge thank you to all four artists involved with re-calibrating the wires and circuits on this project.
