I'm uploading this beautiful, song here, which never had airplay yet.. Estonian songwriter Gennadi Taniel wrote this song in 72. for the Varieté program (in estonian) .. I felt such French feeling in this tune and suggested Taniel, that we'd try to make it in french ..
We found a girl, Kersti, who could speak french and she made a perfect lyrics to the song.. and also taught me, how to pronounce.. :-)  
We recorded it in the Estonian Radio House.  They had only one 2TR recorder and all the orchestra + vocal had to make their 'thang'  same time.., just as Live gig... :-)
As my tunes were almost all the time prohibited, the song never got further than to my own cassette.., with the very bad quality.  But i am happy, that i did find it lately..

My style was always jazzy, but also little bit funky way.. it's coming with the birth...
but I never was technical.., that's why -  if suddenly something didn't start working in the studio, I totally lost my mind and didn't even know, where to look at the  mistake.. etc.. Same thing happened with this tune! My drums started to limp and instead of deleting it, I continued working.. I didn't stop before I finished in the morning.. All tune was one big “thought”.. made up as I was playing/singing it. Next day listening to it, I really became disturb about the “limping” and deleted drums .. So it became pretty funny tune! I thought, I never dare to show it to somebody else:-D

I got a cassette from Jeff Lorber in the late 1991. There was also a beautiful, ballad on it, with only dr., bass, keyboard as a basic harmony, which inspired me to make a song on that... As i lived in Estonia that time, it was difficult with recordings, because i didn't have any recording stuff myself.. One day i got some hours in the “friend” studio, where i could record my almost writing vocal.. Took about one and a half year, when i could get to the studio again and arranged-played also all the other instrumental parts around the song and Jeff’s harmony, to support the vocal... This tune became like a World Music type of stuff.. or..??? Even though the basic was taken from cassette,- this song got on a CD “RESERVA”.

Today, Sept. 16th/2018 -  my Mother could become a 100 years old!    ..... i started to play some melody for my Mom, when she had very difficult time (cancer came back), lying down in the bed at her last days in this world. When i asked, if this playing disturbs her, she answered quietly: " it's so beautiful...".. So -  i continued to play and-  came out this kind of a strange "thing"..

I recorded it in 2017, when Uku was still here.. <3 .. for one more month..😔.. and he wrote me with his eyes, that he liked it very much... <3 He heard of course the long version of that, where is many changes..

I guess, it's time to commercialize my all names, to show, where did Maryn E. Coote come from...
1. -  My former name -  Marju Kuut, is coming from Soviet Estonia..  I recorded there over 500 songs and lot of LP's, but after i emigrated with my son, Uku Kuut, in 1980, almost all my Albums and records and recordings have been officially brutally broken.., because i became Persona Non Grata for them..
I still could find and save some songs.. and will try to upload them also here. 
It might be fun to listen to some known songs even in Estonian language.. :-)
2. After 1980 my artist name became Maryn E. Coote... .. Life took me here and there.. etc.. etc..  I will also upload tunes what was made after the Soviet time.. -  already under the name Maryn E. Coote.. 
3. I'm also a DJ-MEK, that's why the title of this link here is " THREE in ONE" ...
