AB Playlist 019 Part 1

In music, the term “arabesque” refers to a highly ornamental melody whose free unfolding expresses a slowing of time within the composition. Unlike the straight line, which is the most direct path from A to B, the curving movement of the arabesque creates an effect of circular phrases that conjure perpetual melodies. Debussy referred to "arabesque" as a piece of music with exquisite detail and clear repetitions of ideas and artistic balance. This term is used for various kinds of melodic, contrapuntal, or harmonic ornamentation. Several composers including Claude Debussy and Robert Schumann have used this term as a title for compositions. Neno, is a multi-genre composer, guitarist, keyboard & bass player, and occasionally singer with a warm, fragile voicecolor. He has also another project/page, Danen II (covers and support). We worked in the recent past together, resulting in songs expressing deep emotional feeling.

Note: For my friends on Sound Cloud who don't speak any french the word phoque (pronounced phuck) in french means a seal. Hence the title of the song in english would be The Blues of A Seal In Alaska. It's the story of a seal in Alaska whose girlfriend leaves him go perform in a circus in the United States and he's got The Blues

This is my version of the classic québécois song originally written by Michel Rivard. The english equivalent when "feelings" are concerned would be a combination of Summertime and House of The Rising Sun as far as immortal songs are concerned.

Hello Soundcloud, thanks for the Listens, Likes and Support. Im from Melbourne Australia, I have been playing guitar for many years now and played in two bands during the 80's & 90's (STOLEN CAR original) & (STORM cover),both bands never released any material. Since 2010 i have been writing songs and tunes and recording them in my music room (3rd Bedroom), i play Guitar, Bass, Keys, BFD2 Drums(programmed)and Vocals on all of my songs which i class as Demo's, I love all types of music but Hard Rock, Rock to Alternative appeals to me most.
