Down in London on a musical weekend, a diet of absinthe and anphetamines, a girl with pillar box red hair , flashing lights and twitching curtains, it was all go. Jarvis Cocker of Pulp fame knocked the flat door I was staying in loking for "Greens", this was in 1999, wrote the song in 2008, only surfaced again when I popped it on the new Mental straights album in 2017,, love playing this one as it brings back the most hoffiric and beautiful dreams in equal turn. Cant remember much from this period at all ,'ve grown up now (, sober as a judge) but it all helps along the path of life experience. Enjoy folks, good bit of energy to this one, thanks to everyone supporting us, it's much appreciated, we are very busy from October to December 2017 rehearsing a set for a new live album and two videos are getting made shortly. It all go in camp mental. Hope this greeting finds you all, and finds you well. Beaming musical positivity to all.

Greetings folks, get me high is about a man who tries every single day to stop smoking, just as he's rolling another. Putting on a positive mask to hide the truth. Finding some kind of light at the end of a tunnel . Hope is the key. Keep the dreams alive...music keeps me sane. But it kills me at the same time when it fuels the habits of choice. Buckle up sunbeams, we can all get there and follow our dreams. Belief if you can find it is a wonderful thing. Songs about truth, written from the heart and experience. That's where the mental straights are at...rise above the shite people.
