Hex Up Yrself is a collection of nine songs chosen from a series of recordings and experiments by Slow Galley's Drift at their own Three Galleys Studio.

The songs show influences from a range of genres including alt-folk/country, post-rock, prog, shoegaze, and ambient/experimental.

The earlier Slow Galley’s Drift EP, When Darkness Comes, was described by BBC Introducing as ‘really beautiful alternative-folk’.

Sea of Clouds was inspired by minimalist and ambient approaches. Source material was composed, improvised, or captured in field recordings. Elements of chance were incorporated through semi-random editing, dynamic/variable signal paths, and heavy feedback loops. The resulting soundscapes are sometimes choral, sometimes human, sometimes the result of technology ripping itself to shreds.
