Better than the original version of the song. Unfortunately, that isnt a very high bar. But hey! It’s enjoyable to listen to anyways, and is definitely a vast improvement over the original

Hi everyone!
Today, i decided to arrange something different than usual, something not Touhou related, and it is also not meant to be a Touhou style arrange either.
I wanted to arrange one of my favourite childhood songs; the champion theme of Pokemon gen IV, the goal this time was to make the song feel like the original, but without the DS limitations, however, i also included a lot of elements from my own style and i improvised with some notes where i felt like it.
Maybe you could call this a "remaster", i'm not sure, but i think it has some things that wouldn't make it a remaster, like the decision to use guitars instead of flutes for the calmer section.

I'm very nostalgic for Pokemon gen IV, i remember buying Pokemon Pearl at a store in a city when i was 10 years old, i played it for more than 999 hours, so the ingame timer broke...
I really like the OST for this game too, it might be my favourite gen music-wise, gen III also has a lot of amazing music, but i think it's the jazz elements in gen IV that really do it for me.

I think i want to try to make some more arranges in the future, i kinda wanna get better at it.
I know i can easily compose new music, but arranging/remixing/remastering is still a side of music i think i am lacking slightly behind in, so some practise wouldn't hurt i think.

33 House Of The Undying

One of my personal favorites, finally completed and given an overhaul. The concept for this theme had existed way back in 2017, but I only managed to complete it in 2019 after a hiatus from the track. This attempts to combine all aspects of a Victory Road - the intense nature of it, but also the great pride that one has while storming through ace trainers left and right. We have some slight playful moments, some rockin' melodies, and even a short orchestrated bit that reminds you 'this is it'! 

This theme will take you to the Pokemon League, one way or another. See you on the path to victory!
