Zealot R.I.P. started years ago when life-long friends, Jason Hamacher (Frodus, Battery, CombatWoundedVeteran) & Mike Schleibaum, decided to collaborate and write music that’s fast and heavy. Between Schleibaum’s relentless touring in Darkest Hour and Hamacher’s extensive documentary work in Syria, it took a few years for them to settle into a sound that’s somewhere between Entombed, Dead Kennedys and Born Against. The band was solidified with the additions of Pig Destroyer’s Blake Harrison and Fairweather’s Peter Tsouras. This metal amalgam, upon forming, went immediately into the studio and recorded a handful of brutally unhinged songs, released as a self-titled EP on Three One G in 2019. As a bizarre and radical opening reception to the world, Zealot R.I.P. played their first show at the Swedish Embassy in Washington D.C., as The Embassy hosted a concert and panel discussion around the history of Swedish metal.
 
With the release of the Zealot R.I.P’s debut LP, “The Extinction of You” has every bit of the energy one would expect from these beloved, brutal and ripping musicians. And yet, by their own admittance, the band is also a deviation for most of its members. Mike Schleibaum explains that from the band’s formation, “I’ve taken a different approach from any other project or band I’ve been in. Zealot is sort of a return to my early days in music. We write songs pretty quick and usually end up keeping the first takes. I’ve always appreciated Jason’s creative raw energy on the drums and this project is a direct reflection of that. Combine the unique perspectives of Peter and Blake, and the result is explosive visual energy personified in song form.” Blake Harrison adds, “Moving to DC, I wanted to start another project that was a little more ‘punk’ and ‘live’ than Pig Destroyer. Lo and behold, I did not start a new project, but fell in with Zealot RIP, whose energy is bombastic.”

Justin Pearson (Dead Cross, Deaf Club, The Locust), Luke Henshaw (Sonido de la Frontera), Kevin Avery (Field Day, Retox) and Scott Osment (Deaf Club, Glassing, Volente Beach) formed Planet B with the shared purpose of creating music subversive in sound and sobering in message. Their music lays somewhere just out of reach of genre, with aesthetics rooted in hip hop, hardcore punk, turntablism, and 70s-80s horror movie scores. It is catchy, heavily percussive, and eerie all at once, much like the creative output of dark dance duo ADULT., a pair that seek to harness “the perverse aspects of the late '70s analog dystopian post-modernism.” These artists’ bodies of work mirror one another in form and function, and both “Release Me” and “Glass in The Trash” encapsulates the ethos of both, allowing the duos’ similar mindsets to collide. Nicola Kuperus’s hypnotic vocals add an occult aura, mysteriously alluring and supernatural, pulsating and equally intense alongside Pearson’s aggressive style. Henshaw and Adam Lee Miller’s sampling, sequencing and synthesizing entangle and diverge seamlessly, providing dance-driven soundtracks fit for an apocalypse. Both tracks ebb and flow, pull and push, begs to be released and yet remains throbbing in your head long after it ends.

SQUID PISSER eviscerates the ego and and all things serene with their own vibrant form of vicious and mucky hardcore. Slamming down dolphin corpses at breakneck speeds, the duo, which is comprised of Tommy Meehan on guitar (Deaf Club, Cancer Christ, Sweatband Records, Cartoon Network) and Seth Carolina (Starcrawler), have constructed a fresh and mucousy new alien craft powered by tightly controlled noise-guitar, savage primal drum work, and gooped up vocal deliveries that might sound like a gaggle of frogs thrown into a garbage disposal (although the Squid boys wouldn’t recommend doing this).
Conceptualized and formed in 2022, the band decided to fully utilize planet Earth’s viral slumber in order to gestate, write, and record 2 full length albums worth of material. Throughout the year, SQUID PISSER played a handful of shows in California and Nevada as a 2 piece as they continued the quest for further personnel and collaborators. Tommy Meehan’s tightly controlled noise-onslaught of rainbow vomit (spat out of a guitar amp via manic pedalboard wizardry and sophisticated finger work) paired with the utterly brutal and savage drumming of Seth Carolina, merge to create a collection of tracks that have been forged in a totally fucked and sonically chaotic storm of pus and goo.
Their debut release, MY TADPOLE LEGION, is a mutated smorgasbord of songs and guest vocalists from projects like: MELT BANANA, NEKROGOBLIKON, CANCER CHRIST, PUNCH, THE LOCUST, WACKO, and more. Also featured prominently is John Clardy of TERA MELOS on drums for 3 of the songs.

Twin telepathy is real: “Being twins is definitely an unusual life experience; it seems the only way Venus Twins works is that the only two people in the band have this specific connection to one another.” Venus Twins was founded in Denton, TX in the summer of 2018 by Jake (drums) and Matt Derting (bass and vocals). They began writing/recording their first release, Kickass, immediately after inception, followed by a relocation to Brooklyn. Venus Twins’ first LP, Eat Your Dogs, accompanied this relocation. The next release was RAXIS, paired with nearly non-stop touring for two years averaging a show every 3.4 days, playing with bands such as Whores., Heavenly Blue, and Pons. Of upcoming release Stitches (visualized as /\/\/\/\/), vocalist/bassist Matt explains: “I love sewing and making clothes. Throughout the recording of this EP I was practicing a lot, and it started to feel like a perfect metaphor lyrically.” The band is influenced by bands such as Hella, Gilla Band, Machine Girl, JOHNNASCUS, PageNinetyNine, Melt Banana, The Locust, The Mars Volta, and Anthony Green, as well as non-musical artists like Kurt Vonnegut, Andy Kaufman, Robert Eggers, the feeling of constantly being stressed out, and living in NYC.

Stitching was recorded, produced and mixed by Hayden Ticehurst at Studio G in Brooklyn, as well as his personal studio. Mastered by Dan Millice (Hella, A$ap Rocky). It will be released digitally November 8th by Three One G.

Venus Twins "God Help Me Bury This Fucking Light"

Stress Positions is a band from Chicago, IL. The band has three members from the now-defunct C.H.E.W. with the addition of vocalist Stephanie Brooks. The band formed in 2020 and plays forward-looking classic American hardcore punk. A debut EP, Walang Hiya, was released in May of 2021 on Open Palm tapes and released on vinyl by Iron Lung Records in September 2023. The band’s first LP, Harsh Reality, followed that up in December of the same year on Three One G Records.

The band's newest release, Human Zoo, will be released on Three One G in the Spring of 2025, and features remixes from Planet B and Made by Human Hands. As always, Stress Positions remains anti-colonialist and anti-capitalist, amongst the many other things that fall into these frameworks. Topics addressed on this release include draconian abortion laws, washed up comedians who can’t cope with a changing world, the long lasting effects of Western colonialism, the Israeli genocide, subjugation and occupation of the Palestinian people and their lands, Right Wing military indoctrination, and being a person of color in a white-dominated subculture.

STRESS POSITIONS "Blood Money"

Negative Blast formed in San Diego during the depths of the pandemic when longtime buds Rainier Pesebre (vocals) and Alexander Jacobelli (guitar) began trading riffs and ideas in isolation. Jacobelli and bassist Patrick Callaway were touring buddies in their respective bands Lewd Acts and Hour of the Wolf during the early 2000s hardcore punk renaissance. Within two weeks of Rain and Alex jamming ideas, Pat relocated from Chicago to San Diego, cementing the songwriting core of the band.

Jacobelli, who operates Sunsick Studio in La Mesa, engineered and mixed the band’s early recordings, allowing Negative Blast to develop and release material quickly. Their first EP, The First Four Months, was followed by DEMO 002. Initial shows featured Sam Rich (Del Vipers, Riverboat Gamblers) on drums before the group began work on their first LP, Echo Planet, released through Quiet Panic Records.

Midway through the record, Callaway reached out to Mario Rubalcaba (Earthless, Hot Snakes, Rocket From the Crypt), who joined on drums. With Rubalcaba, the band released a split with LA hardcore act SWEAT via Vitriol Records.

In 2025, drummer Hunter Martinez (Decent Criminal, Human Issue) stepped in as a permanent member. His energy is captured on the band’s 2025 full-length, Destroy Myself For Fun.

NEGATIVE BLAST "DENIAL"

The concept of Cult and Culture began as a short segment created by Justin Pearson, an internationally known musician, record label owner (Three One G Records), author, and actor. He is best known as bassist/vocalist for bands such as Dead Cross, The Locust, and Deaf Club, among many others. Justin has come to know and work with a broad spectrum of captivating personalities and brilliant minds, many of which are key figures in the realm of popular culture and cult followings alike. Guests include a broad scope of musicians, producers, authors, filmmakers, and anyone passionate about what they do. In its infancy, segments were shorter, 10-20 minutes, and would be recorded while on tour. Since then, Pearson has collaborated with producer and musician Luke Henshaw (Planet B, Sonido de la Frontera) to build the idea into a proper podcast, now recorded at Penguin Studios in San Diego. The focus is not intended to be in any one realm, and because guests are friends and family, the conversations are frank, informal, well-informed and genuine.

This release is a compilation featuring many of the artists who have been interviewed on the podcast thus far. It will include musical tracks from bands and musicians such as The Exploited, The Locust, ADULT., Year Future, Martin Atkins, and more, interspersed with short snippets from the podcast itself.

Additionally, there will be a limited edition 7” from Luke and Justin’s band Planet B to go with it which includes a cover of Grandmaster Flash & Melle Mel’s “White Lines (Don’t Do It)” with guest vocals from Johnny Whitney (The Blood Brothers).

This compilation will be released in collaboration with Smashed Plastic. It will be available on bandcamp as well as limited edition vinyl.

Swing Kids “Disease” from the Cult & Culture Podcast comp. LP

Cult & Culture Podcast Episode 57 is a discussion with Albert Birney, director, actor, and writer of his most recent film OBEX-- a story that centers around a man in search for his dog in a world that blurs the lines between video game and reality. This is part three of Luke and Justin's five part series of conversations with independent directors that took place at this year's Oak Cliff Film Fest in Texas. The trio talk about the aesthetics of the film, with the goal of creating a "lofi" feel and striving for authenticity. They dive into the filmmaking process, breaking down a lot of the techniques that were used and the process of collaborating on the film score with Deakin of Animal Collective, an old friend of Albert's, to target a "retro" perspective. Birney is also a musician himself, having been in bands as well as recording on his own. They discuss the magic of dogs, the potential for creating a video game to accompany the film, time travel, and nostalgia.

Sample-spewing masterminds Invisibl Skratch Piklz and Planet B work together to forge a gritty, wayward path in these troubling times with this newest 7”. Each entrenched in the ethics of DIY (and with extensive musical histories to show for it), these artists’ music meld hip hop and punk through scratches, synths, and screams. Side A includes two versions of Invisibl Skratch Piklz’ “Polka Fist Pump”, a brutal turntable assault that shows the speed and precision with which ISP can scratch. The second mix on the 7” features Justin Pearson’s scathing vocals and smart-aleck aping of the track’s samples, leaving the listener with “beautiful debris at the birth of terror.” Side B re-imagines a piece originally written by two-thirds of Planet B, Gabe Serbian and Justin Pearson: both locusts who have “learned how to fly with one wing.” The track, “Old Age Lasts Too Long,” was first created for the soundtrack of Asia Argento’s film, Incompresa. Be it through turntablism, Dadaism, situationism or sarcasm, both tracks resonate as prescriptions for dissent, even, at times, in the absence of words.

Cody Critcheloe aka SSION is a New York  songwriter, musician, visual artist  director. For over a decade, Critcheloe has recorded and toured as the music act SSION – pronounced “SHUN” – releasing the full lengths albums Fools Gold in 2008 and Bent in 2012, with 2018 seeing the release of  album “O”. What began as a high school punk band in Kentucky and Kansas City has since evolved into a multidimensional pop performance project known for its bending of , infectious pop hooks and a string of critically acclaimed self-directed music videos.  Fusing elements of grunge, psychedelic rock, glam, punk ‘80’s MTV pop, SSION synthesizes a young lifetime of turn-of-the-millennium sonic references into an aesthetically singular vision of modern song craft, earning him a rabid and devoted fan base.  SSION’s fun and defiant pop output recalls the lineage of artists like Henry Rollins, Freddie Mercury, George Michael, Pet Shop Boys, David Bowie, Boy George  Roxy Music. 

SSION’s  2012 release Bent garnered huge amounts of international attention and was accompanied by critically acclaimed music videos for "My Love Grows in The Dark,” “Earthquake”, “Luvbazaar,” and “High.”
The album’s lead single, “Psy-Chic”, is a delicious tease: just under three minutes of  bass arpeggio, fluttering synths, and Critcheloe singing, in an airy and inviting voice, the kind of chorus that could loop on forever. “Nothing Happens at Nite”, spaces Critchloe’s usually dense approach out over eight minutes, making for a kind of dubby, sun-rising house track that’s subtly moving. Other tracks include the muted beatboxing of “Growin”, the drippy snaps occasionally overwhelmed by oppressive drum pulse on “Feelz Good (4-EVR)” and the brightly upbeat “My Love Grows in the Dark”.

Eighteen years ago, Three One G Records flew in the face of Queen purists with the release of Dynamite With A Laserbeam: Queen As Heard Through the Meatgrinder of Three One G, the label’s 20th release. On it, bands like Melt-Banana, Weasel Walter, The Locust, Bastard Noise and The Blood Brothers unapologetically tackled some of the most beloved and universally recognizable music in popular culture and made it nasty, noisy, and brutal-- and they did so with nothing but love and respect. This was followed by an equally bold tribute to Australian avant-garde legends The Birthday Party, entitled Release The Bats. More frenetic energy from the likes of bands like Cattle Decapitation, Das Oath, SSion and Some Girls, more chaotic feedback giving way to unsettling synth lines, and still (knock on wood) not a lawsuit in sight.
 
It is only fitting, then, that Three One G’s one hundredth release be another tribute, this time to an iconic band known for its raunchy and pure punk spirit, all while looking effortlessly cool: The Cramps. For the label’s third comp, the lineup of musicians enlisted to take part is even more diverse, including the likes of Chelsea Wolfe, Daughters, Mike Patton, and Metz, among others-- all members, in some way or another, of the extended Three One G family. Here you’ll hear everything from Cumbia-style Cramps as interpreted by Sonido De La Frontera, to Panicker’s electronic dance-centric distorted version of “I’m Cramped”. Just as The Cramps mastered the art of covering music through their own warped lens, Three One G carries on the torch of re-imagining songs with swagger and style, making it their own while honoring a band whose influence on the label is obvious.
 
This compilation will be the landmark 100th release by Three One G Records. It will be available digitally as well as on limited edition vinyl on May 1st, 2020. Mastered by Brent Asbury at Measurable Harm. Layout and design by Black Moon Design.

SATANIC PLANET is the creation of Lucien Greaves (The Satanic Temple co-founder and spokesperson), Luke Henshaw (Planet B, Sonido de la Frontera), Dave Lombardo (Slayer, The Misfits, Mr. Bungle, Suicidal Tendencies, Dead Cross), and Justin Pearson (The Locust, Dead Cross, Swing Kids, Deaf Club). With the birth of Satanic Planet, hip-hop producer Henshaw and punk provocateur Pearson joined co-founder and spokesperson of The Satanic Temple, Lucien Greaves-- the most prominent and outspoken contemporary Satanist in the world. Greaves has gained international attention as an advocate for religious liberty and the voice of the Satanic Reformation, delivering lectures nationwide and featured in national media outlets including  MSNBC, NPR, Huffington Post Live, CNN, Harper’s Monthly, Newsweek, Fox News, Vice, Salon, Rolling Stone, and many more. As the trio were diligently working, and nearly completed with, the music for their debut album, the worldwide pandemic hit, seemingly bringing things to a halt. However, with the onset of this new way of living, the newly-formed band was in a unique position to enlist the legendary Dave Lombardo, who found himself not touring for the first time in years, and suddenly having more time to work in his home studio on projects that interested him. With the addition of this iconic drummer, Satanic Planet was complete. Along the way, an eclectic range of guest appearances arise, including Cattle Decapitation’s Travis Ryan, Nomi Abadi, Silent’s Jung Sing, Shiva Honey, Eric Livingston (also known as his artist moniker, First Church of the Void), and Hexa’s Carrie Feller. This collaboration embraces the avant garde to create sci-fi sermons that range from doom and industrial to evil exotica.

SATANIC PLANET "Baphomet"


Three One G is in a sense, a family owned business…and basically a family in itself. I started the label in hopes to better the quality and creativity of things  that I was part of, as well as the music culture that I am part of. Three One G quickly developed into a family of artists who were all intertwined, or on the same page as one another. For me, it is the truest definition of family; people who are of the same breed and people who are from the same way of life. In the beginning, I started off by releasing music by Swing Kids and Unbroken, both of which shared a member, and were part of a musical community that I was submerged in. It was something that I was really a part of and more so, something that was obtainable, tangible, and real. Over the years, Three One G has loosely been related to a band that I’m part of, and better known for, The Locust. The relevance that The Locust had to Three One G brought amazing artists into the picture, either through meeting them on tour, musical collaborations, or other various things that The Locust was doing. This really helped to diversify the label and the sounds that it encompasses up to this day. To me, having bands under the Three One G umbrella like Cattle Decapitation, Arab on Radar, Quintron, Zs, Black Dice, Orthrelm, and so on, all makes sense, regardless of how different any artist's approach to music or their sound may be. We could all conceivably tour together, even sometimes collaborate and share members. To me, this is interesting, bringing so many new avenues of creativity, which are things that the music industry in general has since forgotten. 
The family members who currently make the wheels spin for Three One G, aside from the actual bands and artists are; Sal Gallegos (who also played in Some Girls, which were comprised of members of other label mates such as The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower, and Unbroken), as well as myself. Over the years we have expanded, not only musically, but geographically as well. Even though Three One G is below the radar of the who’s who of labels, the bands manage to grow and reach out beyond the label’s grasp, giving a glimpse into the all too interesting underbelly of an unrefined culture. The bands manage to amaze, challenge, inspire, and essentially blow minds. The labor of love here shows sincerity, as well as integrity. The family here is solid, legitimate, and is here to stay.
