This didn't make it to the album but has calmed me in so many ways. This is my idea of what a lo-fi track could be if I made one. Super different from all my releases, and it's yours now.

Premonition follows visions of an impending disaster conjured up in one’s head. An eerie sense of calmness is followed by a full-blown storm in the form of a weapon meant only for dance floor demolition. Drawing inspiration from apocalyptic and cinematic themes, Premonition is the perfect blend of UKato’s raw, unapologetic and aggressive motifs and Three Oscillators’ imaginative and glitchy soundscapes.

Ah, this. Avit did the original melody and piano parts, and I put the rest. We've probably played it 60 times among ourselves. And cried internally every time.

Transcendence

Back in junior college, every time before falling asleep, I used to stare into the ceiling and listen to guys like @phonat and question life and shit. Avit introduced me to Altered Tensions and we both felt inspired again (that's the IDM alias of @mattlange and it's insane). This was our attempt to recreate that vibe with tons of glitches I recorded, coupled with Avit's pad and melody stuff. 

If you stare into space while listening to this, our job is done.

This started off with one sample. We have no clue how it all fell into place but we're glad it did. Making this was a blur.

Ethereal

Surprise release! This is a two-year old project that we finally decided to put out. It's completely different from all the upcoming music we have, and we hope you dig it.

kind of a long note but here goes:

2018 has been a monumental year in shaping the new sound of three oscillators. we've been dabbling with new plugins, new production processes, new ways of looking at music and adding live/organic elements to our new tracks. this is the longest we've been away because we didn't want to release something half-baked just for the sake of releasing it. 

also super overdue was our presence on spotify and apple music, but that's fixed so pleeeeease go ahead and follow us; there's so much new music to share with you and your support goes a long, long way.

this song is us stepping out of our comfort zones. @karshnin absolutely nailed it with the vocals and keys. we've never collaborated with a vocalist before. it's her song, actually. go follow her because she's an amazing musician and deserves a spot on your playlists.

this project was hidden in my Ableton for an entire year, after which i ported it to FL Studio and finished the rest of it. that piano sample is some dude playing the craziest chords on freesound. he was generous enough to give it for free. it all added up.
