Dirty Epic welcomes aboard its resident @thefifthstigma for its twelfth episode of Amplify Series.

American born, now living in Paris, France, The Fifth Stigma is an esoteric musical project.

Tired with the direction of contemporary techno, The Fifth Stigma aims to craft a slow, heavy, and raw metallic techno, influenced by history, emotions and obscure world music, driven by a blend of several genres in times where everything seems to go faster and look alike.

Production wise, he refuses to conform to one genre, always exploring new sounds from different horizons, from liturgical to techno, from noise to punk electronics like body music, transporting you in landscapes of desolation and agony with EPs released on cassettes and CDs.

His works received support from many influent artists all over the world and is played by renowed artists such as Rommek, Tommy Four Seven and French duo Imperial Black Unit.

Øperat, an experimental industrial project born by the Italian duo in 2013. Always passionate about electronic music, they approached the world of live and production right away. Suggesting a completely modular set up. Their sound is characterized by dark environments with dynamic bass lines and rhythms, aggressive and sharp sounds. After several years spent in a studio they had the opportunity to play live shows at one of the main clubs in the area"Hyper" (VI). In which they had several opportunities to perform with international artists. Last year they recorded some DJ sets for Sehnsucht Kollektiv, The Slave,Untreated and Brutal Forms.In February 2019 they have their first release in a various artist on Kloster recordings and December 2020 TEMPLER (Area Z). Øperat is a strong and solid project in continuous evolution created by two old childhood friends.

Founded in 2021, Antibody is a label from Brussels that is run by DJ and producer Raum aka Yannick Franck, an Industrial / EBM musician rooted in noise music and sound art. Aside from his solo searches as Raum, he plays in projects Orphan Swords and Figure Section and has released music on many labels such as Aufnahme+Wiedergabe, Instruments of Discipline, Desire Records, Aurora Borealis or Sub Rosa. His work with Antibody label focuses on abrasive electronics, left field techno and everything post-punk / wave. It is not organized around a defined niche, but rather asserts an adventurous spirit, wild beats and unalduterated sonic experiments.

Aleksandr Rain began play techno as dj at late '90s. In 2000 together with Krankiss he launched promo-group Art of Music which first in Saint-Petersburg (Russia) started organize regular hard techno parties. From 2006 Aleksandr played as hardware live-project Mental Distortion. In 2009 he joined as electronic part to ethno-electronic project Kamennoe More.  In 2012 Rain leave Russia and went to Asia where he residence at present days (currently in Vietnam).
Artist prefer more hardest substyles of techno with offbeat rhythms and IDM elements.

A long period of b2b sessions culminated in the two artists merging their talents together to launch a new musical journey under the name of Tapefeed.
The soundscapes reproduced by Tapefeed evoke a truly raw, deep and almost mesmerising sensation created by the blending of hypnotic ambient tones with techno-tribal percussions, heavy basslines and emotional melodies. Their ever-evolving sound comes as the pinnacle of years of musical research shared by the duo. Alessandro’s decade-long experience as a music and art director, event organiser and avid music listener are essential in keeping Tapefeed’s image and sound up to date. Rick’s background as a drummer in rock and funk bands and his recent ventures in piano studies and production, on the other hand are the driving force behind their innovative sound. This merging of their passion, musical experience and innate desire to achieve new sounds allowed the duo to broaden their horizons by being the brainchilds of Tales Collective, where they are resident djs and organisers. 
Tales Collective aims to explore music, art and human consciousness by moving it away from its seemingly prefabricated one dimensional view and into a realm of shared, collective awareness. This brings forth a new breed of techno parties in which different artistic expressions fuse together to create a powerful, reflective and unique audiovisual experience

Nigh/T\mare’s most recent EP, entitled “Hypnagogia” on Thrènes Records, is the perfect example of the artist’s uncompromising attitude. The integral work on this project is the perfect sublimation of experimental overtones, rugged beats, and techno punch, making for a candid, outstanding, and diverse approach with a lot of edge.

The opening track, “Inside Me”, perfectly encapsulates the dark, melancholic atmosphere and the robust dynamism we find throughout the EP. Operating a more technoid and ethereal approach on “Without Believing”, Nigh/T\mare successfully communicates his urge to express his dystopian feelings of loneliness and despair. The journey continues with “Deflagration of Hell”, which comes as a daring lamentation from deep inside the darkness. Killawatt’s rework on this one heads off a bit of the original and discharges its emotional intensity by offering a new audaciously powerful dynamic. Finally, “Despite Everything” keeps the perfectly balanced feel of the EP; it offers a subtle touch of dreaming and a hidden optimism. The digital edition includes an exclusive track and a longer version of Killawatt’s interpretation.
