(CIFA) founded in 2012, in Washington, DC, seeks to address the health needs of communities by raising awareness, providing real life practicals on how to prevent common illnesses, and uniting the rare disease community together through inspirational success stories.

CIFA sponsors a community radio show on We Act Radio, THRIVE Nation: A Health and Wellness Forum on Monday nights at 7:00pm EST. The radio show aims to deliver quality programming to nourish the mind, body and spirit so those with a chronic illness no longer have to suffer in silence or walk alone. Each weekly episode includes inspirational stories from the chronic illness community, health tips and other antidotes for all to thrive not just survive.
