Luo is the alias of Brighton based electronic musician Josh Trinnaman - a forward thinking experimental electronic producer and engineer who’s work has seen critical acclaim from the likes of Huw Stephens on Radio 1, Clash Magazine, Notion + more.

Having built his name as a solo performer (supporting the likes of Death Grips and Venetian Snares), Luo has now transcended into a full 4-piece live group to expand the compositions into new territories.

The album features an explosive collection of percussive sounds, arp-ing synthesisers, and guitar drones, all presented via Trinnaman’s forward focused electronic production.
The opening track (which shares the title of the album) sets the tone with a beautiful ambient introduction, moving forward into an arrangement containing all the elements which are set to be featured across the rest of the album, from intricate live drums to brass arrangements and cut up vocal samples. It’s difficult not to be intrigued with the rest of the album after hearing such a strong opener.

Moving forward through the album, tracks like ‘Octopus’ and ‘Intertwined’ showcase the incredible live drums talents of Sam Hughes, and invite the listener to indulge in the beautiful soundscapes created around such huge breaks.  
Even after numerous listens, the record is often quite difficult to place, but in the most enticing way. It has such a strong potential to engage fans in the worlds of electronic, math rock, drum and bass, jazz and experimental music.

New species of dance music grooves is born in the forest of concrete and data. Following the single “Sheng” on Do Hits Vol.1, putting together various sound elements, fusing traditional and dance music in the oriental context, Jason Hou returns with his album Sheng, as a milestone for his musical adventure from 2013 to 2015.

“Qi” is the repeated breath of the universe; “Shrine” records the oldest temple of Beijing; “Mantra” chants the mysterious sacred words. Reconstructing “Peking” of Beijing Melodic Metal band Shuang Dong Qian Ye, “Peking 2045” depicts a cyber-punk futuristic city of Beijing. A longer version of “Sheng” captures a thunder-rumbling, stormy evening in the forest. “Martial” represents Chinese philosophy in the future electrified war. “Havoc” takes in Chinese opera, putting on a show of the Monkey King rioting in the Heaven. “Stardust” tells the story of the last human beings entering the unknown space after the apocalypse.

This year’s edition features 15 tunes from new friends and TMS members alike.  We kick off with classic Detroit bounce from Vibesnds on ‚FUNKFUDGEDUST.  Look out for more TMS releases featuring this talented soul.  Next, making his debut, is beatmaker and longtime friend of Sarah Farina, Thallus, blessing us with his recipé to ,Relax‘. 
Also new to nurned are Hamburg based artists WEOSM and KUNO.  WEOSM gives us a taste of his cosmic beat futurism with ,BounceToLetGo‘ and KUNO’s track ,CRAVE’ delivers an homage to UK garage paired with vibey vocals. Drummer and producer jbxdr’ gives us a taste of his upcoming EP with ,ETA’, showcasing his unique, loop free production style.  The Afterhour delivers a dreamy and dubby production with ,Cngo AtNite‘ followed by hxyxpxnxo’s rough, grimey and bassy cut ,beat99.’  

Of course, the compilation features signature productions from TMS members. Sooma brings ,Dawa,’ a percussive house tune and Schockglatze delivers a hypnotic, tribal track designed for the dance floor in ,Kwesi’.
Moscow local Bad Zu manifests his production skills with tropical bass grooves on ,Queen’ and  She‘s Drunk returns, offering his take on Bailé Funk with an edit of ,Sequência da Putaria‘ by MC Pikachu e MC Magrinho. 
NGHT DRPS is back revealing his love of club music with an ,untitled‘ bassline banger. Enveloop brings us ,Cleopatra‘, a sonic meeting of berlin-techno and Kudoro. Berlin based Radar Bird offers a bass heavy fm synth bomb ideal for ironing naked in a desert after a long weekend with ,Saphire.’
Finally, ,Nurned Love‘ by Walter Vinyl & Qumasiquamé, rounds out the compilation with a smooth groove steeped in percussions.

Filastine's 2006 debut album Burn It made inroads among music fans from the hiphop, world, electronic, and experimental scenes. The album peaked at #15 in France's national independent radio charts, and it received airplay from Mary Anne Hobbes & John Peel. The CD was snatched up and re-released by French label Jarring Effects, Japanese label Romz, and US anarcho-collective Crimethinc. 
With his sophmore album, Dirty Bomb, Filastine's gritty transnational soundclash of urban rhythm returns. Freely splicing dubstep with balkan brass or hiphop with bollywood, Dirty Bomb parties in the mud puddle of our increasingly polluted world. Kick drums beat out rapid patterns for dances yet to be invented. Rich acoustic strings merge with programmed synths. Listen to "Fitnah" for proof that a song doesn't need to be in English nor in 4/4 to be a mesmerizing pop wonder. Each vocal here resulted from an on-site collaboration. Aboriginal Australian Wire MC and Japan's ECD (indy hiphop icons of their respective countries) rap over the contorted crunk of "Hungry Ghosts". Closing the album is teen gypsy La Perla, recorded in a squatted cave in 
Granada.

The Waiting Game is the soundtrack of postponing actions in order to contemplate what the past looked like and the future should look like. Melancholic synth chords and atmospheric field recordings symbolize a trip down memory lane. Fast and complex rhythms symbolize quick flashbacks of all nice things happened and uncertain visions of the future.
