after sitting on this for over a year i finally get the chance to share this with everyone. i'm so happy to finally get this out there. it's crazy to look back on the times i had while working on this one. i was at a pretty big transitionary point in my life and making this helped a whole lot throughout the process. i honestly think i feel it even more than i did while i was recording. this last year has been pretty turbulent and i haven't really had the chance to work on music the same way that i used to. i guess i just don't have the same relationship with it like i did. i'm not stopping by any means, but i'm working on getting back to where it feels like fun. i plan on taking this next year to work on my last solo album under the jak3 / trashman alias. as well as work on some collaborative projects with my friends. i'm still interested in doing shows, djing etc. as jak3, but i feel that it's time for me to start something new. thank you to everyone who has ever taken the time to listen to the music i make. it's still funny to think what i do actually holds any weight sometimes, but i hope i've been able to help people with what i've done so far. i'm incredibly grateful to have all the support i do. s/o all the friends i've been able to make simply just by posting some shit on the internet. god bless and i hope regardless if you listen to this or not that you have a great day and never forget that even on a small scale you can help the people you have around you.

Indie rock waltz..I totally ripped the solo off from another tune I cowrote/recorded vocals for with Matt Louis Dixon called "Empty Skies" by New Days. (Our former band.)
This tune is my tip of the hat to you Matt.

This is the first song I wrote/recorded when I started the process of putting my home studio together in 2020. It's pretty raw. I may eventually rerecord this tune, as I quite like it..enjoy!
