For this life we live. We live it with adversity. Pleasure simply seems to pass. For the awakening consciousness experiences pain intrinsic to self. Touch by the darkness in an attempt to hold onto the light. Driven mad by the spirits of the dead only to beg for God again. Seeking everywhere but self. 

Simply when one accepted self and assimilated the darkness began to subside. But the darkness does not subside without war. So the dark brings forth pain unimaginable to soul. 

And one must not taint thyself with pitying thoughts. For no ascended being touches God without destroying the darkness within. But no ascended being destroys the darkness within without knowing it first. 

One has to burn the flame. 

That lights the sky. 

So that God may enter through self. 

So thy may hold the world in the hand. 

Like the mother hold thy son close. 

For the heart brings forth the light one most do not see.

The light that allows one to assimilate with self. So God may be found within.

So experience God with self do not lose God to the darkness for the darkness taints all.
