Celebrated the installation of a new customized Mac rig and Logic Pro X 10.5 by spending a few hours creating this hybrid hip-hop, dubstep, funk, jazz, orchestral track I call Logical Victory.

LOGICAL VICTORY

I wrote this piece in high school in 1990 which started out as a guitar-hammering tune but was later intended as a string sextet. At the time, I didn't have access to string musicians, or any music making software capable of pulling it off, so I ended up painstakingly programming the lead in Turbo Pascal, utilizing the computer's internal speaker as the 'instrument'. Here we are 30 years later and I now have Cubase Pro, so thought I'd revive it to hear what the string sextet would actually sound like. I named it '21st Century Sonata' back then in the 20th century, but had no idea it would actually come to proper fruition in the 21st century!
