I've been around my dad a lot more recently. He's got some particular things that he...well, he kind of gets hung up on? No, that's not quite it - it's more like, certain phrases for him are inexorably linked to events or ideas in his head. I think everyone is like this, to an extent, but there are certain phrases or concepts where my dad will ALWAYS remind you of that mental link he has. It's kinda charming, but it also means that I will also suffer from the same wack-ass mental connections that he does if he mentions them enough times.

Case in point: the phrase "read my lips" and ex-american-president George Bush's claim that he would never raise or add any new taxes during his tenure as president. George made a big deal out of the "no new taxes" thing, and it was apparently one of the major parts to his platform. Surprising nobody, he did eventually have to raise taxes (though he tried not to), and basically all of his political opponents in the next presidential race made fun of him for it. The soundbyte of him saying "read my lips" at the republican national convention when pledging not to raise taxes became somewhat infamous as a result of this. And, so, my dad will always, without fail, use the same intonation if he ever says the phrase "read my lips," for any and all reasons. And now I can't help but think of it, too. Soon, you'll be infected with this knowledge as well. Isn't that just...swell?

Anyways, GHOST is a wonderful song as always. You all should check out Nelward's other songs. They aren't all to my taste, but some of them I very much enjoy. (Innuendo is wonderful, in my opinion.)

Also, I'm aware that this is not *real* content. I'm workin' on it, ok? Just been a bit occupied with personal stuff and work. I figure that uploading something is better than nothing, and I just happened to make this so I could get it out of my system. So uh, yeah. Consume my brainslop, I suppose.

The thumbnail is, of course, based on the "sbeve" meme, although the inspiration was specifically an Omori-related take on the meme. You remember Omori? That quirky indie RPG that UNDERTALE'd itself in terms of its community? Yeah, I was briefly curious about it, and in my content binge I came across a format like what you see in the thumbnail (replace me with Sunny, bald guy with Aubrey, and the lady with the stupid boy character). Regarding the thumbnail: please keep in mind that this is all for japes, lets not have any heated political discussions in the comments, mmkay? It ain't worth your time or mine.

On today's episode of "jokes so niche and weird that only Juan would understand them"

Just somebody that posts whatever terrible jokes come to mind. Sometimes I'll post original work, but expect mashups and memes for the most part.

I'm doing my best to limit my internet usage, so I probably won't be here too often, but I'll try to respond to any messages I get when I get around to it.

Unless stated otherwise, all thumbnails and art on my profile (excluding reposts, of course) are my own work. Ballpoint pens, pencils, Sharpie markers, a good eraser, paper, and patience are my tools, and they've served me well. (There's also a bit of digital touch-up after scanning the drawings in, but that's less interesting to talk about.)
