Eletronic sounds, Jazz and Brazilian music are the Lavoura´s main focus of their music journey. Since their beggining in 2003 the band produce a blend of synthetic music, beats and cinematic sounds. The band takes brazilian music to others territories near the the global urban music dialog with genres from dancefloor enviroment as Nu-Jazz, Broken Beat and Dubstep.

Cultura eletrônica, jazz e música brasileira são os pontos centrais da pesquisa musical do quarteto Lavoura. Desde sua criação, em 2003, o grupo se dedica a produzir uma síntese da interação homem-máquina, resultando em psicogeografias sonoras e fluxos cinemáticos. A banda leva a música brasileira para territórios da música urbana global, dialoga com os novos gêneros voltados às pistas de dança como o nu-jazz, broken beats e dubstep.

The band MUV - Movimento Uniformemente Variado - is head by Ricardo Verocai and Katia Drummond. And its a musical project that blends the roots of Soul, Funk, Jazz, Salsa and Rap with diverse brazilian rhythms as Samba, Baião and Afoxé. One of the mean focus of the band is revisit the black music movement that happened in 60s in Rio de Janeiro.

This is closely connected to the last upload, It was an album of music created with a sequencer using real instrumental samples. It was an experiment with my sons software (Acid- Soundforge, I think, but no details of version, etc) but I did not get on with selecting samples and putting each note onto a piano roll. I used many short sections, copied with different instruments and pitch, etc. An copied and pasted until I had had enough. I liked the music but did not have the patience for creating this way.

It was digitally produced of course so the reproduction quality was quite good. However, I felt it was worth putting one track thru Suno, selected prompts to change the style,etc and let Suno go to work. AI WAS A DAMN SIGHT quicker than the sequencing method. I of course ended up with several different variations, I have selected this one as an example. If you are intrigued and have the time, you can find the original under the title "String Me Up" on the album, "This Is Me".
