The original track is so good and so like hard and intense and so I wanted to make a more like up-beat, emotional, almost happy sort of version if that makes sense. Used some demotapes samples in there and that really pushed it in that direction for me.

Another little UKG flip. I love how just like happy and hopeful it sounds. I found Original Koffee just recently but I found a lot of her music to be really inspiring and after hearing her song that interplanetary criminal flipped I wanted to try to try one out. Much love to both of them.

This was the first song I ever heard by Derby but man I was just absolutely obsessed and would listen to it several times a day. The whole album Slugger is absolutely peak. It really strikes that rural bone that growing up in a small Ohio town gives you. Anyway, chopped the whole thing up in a sampler and turned it into this really spastic crazy sorta thing which I feel is the original energy in a way but delivered very differently.

Truman Sinclair's Bloodline was shown to me by one of my good friends and I just loved everything about it. The music, the message, his voice, all just so good that it really hit me. I also just love that effect of being able to relate to something so personally while it also can carry that association with the other person at the same time. So not only did I just love the song, but this is also a pretty good example of me really just making something to wig my friend out.
