"As the first festival of my summer, I found there immediatly the warmth I missed all year. The sweetness of the people, the mesmerizing forest with the fresh little river passing through, the perfectly adjusted soundsystem and the hypnotizing music were altogether the ingredients for a magical opening of the season. Parisian artist December steps up in this week's instalment of the Rhythmic Culture mix series. December’s music is a nightly one. Always on the edge between party and spleen, it questions the sensitivity taboo in techno, alternating dry rhythmic punishments and synthesizers coloured with a worried melancholy.

In the course of 80 minutes, December shifts back and forth between mesmerising scapes and rhythms–from slow to fast and back–brought with confidence and class.

Once mixed under a sunshiny roof in Cologne, now developed in a snugly room in Berlin: 150 Session has no clue what to do, missed all goals and comes around from all directions. ML's worldly sets are prepared spontaneously, marrying avant-electronics with foretime chants, odd dance emotions, man-made minimal tones, psychedelic fuzz and some neon light jazz. No country, no flag – outernational without a cause!

We celebrate four final hours of power from the USol crew!
Undeniably important and inimitable in taste, Underground Solution was integral part of RTRFM's fabric for 33 years. The show wrapped up its taste-making run with a marathon four hour broadcast that highlighted long lost archival recordings, contemporary underground esoterica and deep cuts from the collection of Boorloo's best crate diggers. Long live USol!

Fracture returns to the label for the first solo release since The Limit VIP to kick off another LTD 10” series. APHALTD001 sees Fracture giving the VIP treatment to one of his favourite hardcore records from 1992; The Skeleton Krew’s ‘Luv Ta Luv Ya’. Originally released on Skeleton Recordings, it was a big favourite of DJ Randall and LTJ Bukem but as a young Charlie Fracture was only 13 at the time it was pirate radio where he first heard it: 

“I had a tape from my favourite station, Weekend Rush. It was a Vinyl Groove set with MC Shabba over it and a lot of the records on there totally blew my mind. I’ve since found out what pretty much all of the records are but there was this one, Luv Ta Luv Ya, that I only recently managed to get an ID on and lost my mind again. I hadn’t heard it outside of that tape, which I sadly lost.” 

Soon after finding out the details of the record, Fracture took to twitter to pass on his love for the track and praise to DJ Monita. It turned out the praise was mutual and that he was very much still active. Very soon after that a remix was arranged . . . sometimes the internet does actually work, or was it something in the stars?
