So I'm determined to start making this into a monthly Podcast of sorts. New Music I dig and I want to share with you. This first encarnation of it is called ATARAXIS which is the absence of stress, peace of mind...  I'm usually in my center with music.

I moved to NYC in 1997 and experimented with several different aliases as I tried to figure out how to properly produce an electronic record. In 2000, after the success of The Watersong (the first record I made as The Scumfrog) I decided to take that alias and make it my DJ name as well. I made two mix different mixtapes; one 'big room' mix and one 'small room' mix. I recently found the small room tape and transferred it to digital format. So here it is! Enjoy my sound from exactly two decades ago, recorded with two turntables and a crappy little mixer. I must have made about 50 copies of these at the time. Leave a comment if you had one!
