A track that was heard everywhere from the big gun sets at festivals to the dingy backrooms of clublands underworld-months before it officially came out-Shame Cube caught the ear of the more intelligent modern clubber with its unmistakably Sian style vocal creeping into a densely textured mash of beats and bass wobble.It marked a segway further into our dark and edgy strobe lit world inhabited solely by Octopus and its henchmen.Having already wrestled into the number 2 spot on Beatport Techno Top 100,we felt it a likely contender for a fan remix contest,and we assigned Marc Houle and Oliver Huntemann the tasks of leading the way with their insanely creative interpretations,plus we opened the doors to hordes of fans to appear on this ep alongside the talented trio of producers,and selected a winner named Philip Lowenbek,who´s truly left field mix won us over with a straight-up adventurous attempt.Outstanding reimaginings of a new school cult classic tune,the mixes harness the vibe and stay true to that disturbingly catchy call to arms vocal ¨when will you look at yourself?¨.

As you know, Dosem is preparing his first album on Suara. Two months ago you could hear two little tastes of what is going to be one of the hottest productions of this 2014. After the huge success with Streetout EP, this time we decided to bring you two high class tracks that you will also find in his future album. In this case we have two pearls: "Chase The Link", a driving techno track that takes you deep into the dancefloor and "Cuts or Cats", with a much housier background and a breakdown that explodes into another level. By the way, the next release from Dosem in Suara will be his album... The kitties can't wait!

[Suara 140] Dosem - Chase The Link (Original Mix) [Suara]

Adam Beyer’s new EP titled ‘Teach Me’ is an accomplished piece of work that highlights Beyer's year thus far. 'Teach Me' starts with some eerie chords before the distinctive vocal kick in and the track drops into a rumbling techno track. ‘Darlek’ uses rhythmic beeps and huge synth stab to create a funky rhythm before the atmospheric pads create a beautiful setting for this incredible techno track. ‘Stop Talking’ is a deeper offering from Beyer using weird and unusual noises to create and interesting piece of work that is helped along by the throbbing bass underlying in the track. ‘Spaceman’ uses a rhythmic vocal, percussion and sub bass to turn this track into a funky techno piece.

Arriving as the third outing of Len Faki’s recently established non-profit platform LF RMX, these previously exclusive edits take on a raging classic by courtesy of Frankie Bones, godfather of the North-American rave scene.

The new Hardspace Mix bolsters up the characteristic vocal and synths for even more frantic effect but trades in the percussion for Faki’s signature assault of claps and hats. These also dominate the stripped-back Hardspace Tool, which carefully builds momentum only around the sirens and some seriously sizzling low-end rumble. Both of Faki’s personal mixes capture the orignal’s raw energy, yet manage to appear in both sleek but powerful presence.

As with all releases of LF RMX, the proceeds of this record will be donated to the Berlin charity project Straßenkinder e.V. to be used in actions against child poverty.
