So, it's 2015 & a little bit later than planned (better late than never!) we are ready to unleash our first release of the year!

Our eighth release sees our German brothers Zweimannzelt team up with Raw Underground Records boss DomSamba with lead track 'Down The Drain.' A club ready, peak-time, bass heavy slammer which is guaranteed to rock any dancefloor!
On remix duties this time round we have called upon the services of Berlin based stevn.aint.leavn who is better known for his work on the wicked Beste Modus! stevn give us a deep and dark re-work that is sure to get even the stiffest leg shaking!
Next up we have the ever consistent and truly talented Desos who serves up a low slung, laid back version of the track in his own unique and recognisable style! 

And to top things off the Zweimannzelt boys give us 'Cold Snap.' A deep, groovy, 90's inspired deep house track with bright chords, skippy hats on top of a bubbling bassline and chopped vocals.

In the UK countryside​, a long, long way from the Mojave desert, minimal upstart and Scissor & Thread signee Desert Sound Colony is readying the vibes for the inaugural Further Future festival, set to debut in the desert outside of Las Vegas on May 1.

Truth is, it doesn't matter where you may be when you listen to this 65-minute selection, you'll be zapped immediately to 3AM on May 1st, frolicking through the desert with the naked CFO of a tech startup and frying on research chemicals while dressed like a bedouin.

His workings to date have seen him explore a plethora of shapes, textures and tones and his debut, self titled album, out now on Correspondant sees the music-maker delve deeper into his world of leftfield influences, citing Laurie Anderson, Steve Reich, Tangerine Dream and Aphex Twin as notable artists of inspiration. From spacious, downtempo atmospherics through to straight up electro pop, Man Power has been championed by the likes of Tim Sweeney and John Talabot and we are hyped to have him enter the i-D mix crew. In 2011 Brian d'Souza released his first EP on Glasgow based record label Huntleys & Palmers, this was to be the debut of Auntie Flo. Some five years later his musical progression has evolved substantially. Last year saw him release the critically acclaimed 'Theory Of Flo' accompanied by a brand new live show. His sounds sees him dabble between the crossovers of world music, dance and balearic obscurity. He captures a sun kissed sound which you would certainly not associate with the bleak and rainy forecast which so often swamps Glasgow. He steps up to deliver us over an hour of percussion, exclusives, earthly samples and beyond: a real treat.

Auntie Flo: The Ransom Note Mix

Both solo, and as the driving force behind Hercules & Love Affair - a project that scans as a love letter to classic house and disco - Andy Butler has been responsible for some of the best dance music of the 21st century. But as you will undoubtedly know, he's also a bloody talented DJ - from his teenage years playing underground leather nights in his native Denver, right through to the present day and being booked for pretty much every major club around the world.

Ahead of his appearance at fabric on 24th February - he's playing in Room One along with Bicep and Gideön - Andy has provided us with this most excellent Ransom Note mix. Classic sounds with fresh energy - a timeless combination.
