Winner of 'Best Track Title' so far this year, we're very pleased to be able to present to you a full premiere of Gab Rhome's 'I've Changed My Scent For You'. This is a real gem of a track, in Gab's signature deep, emotive style and we're sure you're going to enjoy streaming it just as much as we've enjoyed playing it here at the Deep House London office for the past few days!

In case you're unfamiliar with Gab Rhome, he's been knocking around for a few years now and first came to our attention through his timeless '1990 As In Gold Was Born', which was released on Guy Gerber's Supplement Facts label via a compilation called Things Have Changed, in 2012. Since then he's had several key releases on labels such as Lee Burridge's All Day I Dream, Sasha's Last Night On Earth, Get Physical and Culprint to name but a few. His style rests at the deeper, more melodramatic end of house music and is perfect for those endless summer days that we're soon to be enjoying!

Gab new EP comes via the always trusty Anjunadeep label and features two other great tracks, 'Drifting' and 'Warm Days'. We can't recommend it highly enough and the track below is a perfect example of just how good it is. Gab worked tirelessly on the EP, spending much of his time and energy composing, arranging and even singing on the tracks himself so it's a labour of love, which is obvious when you listen to it.

Gaining momentum with the top of the line EP Blue Lagoon released at the start of the year, he delivers this mind blowing gift to you all, for your listening pleasure, for free. 

With the faint flashes of light signaling the beginning of the glorious season that is Spring, Bee Hunter taps into the essence of it bringing you this masterpiece that there are no words to describe. Instantly your auditory senses are engulfed with that signature powerful combination of kicks, shakers & that steady introduction of the starting melody line. It's the on the edge build up that really latches on as you can feel the energy just bursting through, just like the first signs of plants beginning to rise from the long winter break. The title "Dandelion" itself speaks more about the story that this beautiful melody drenched release is, whether the flower is at its bright yellow stage or at the point where all the seeds start to float away when a light breeze touches it, that moment is captured in the stunning layering structure as heard. The moment the sensational build up disperses into a chorus of the dynamic chord progression,  the heart melting piano work really delivers the final blow of the mind just succumbing to the tasty & vibrant sounds. Adding in the subtle sound of the background vocal line, the atmosphere of the positive Spring is cemented & nothing but hope gleams out.

We hope you enjoy this delectable release from a producer that is just constantly on the go, making our lives that much more pleasant with these dreamy releases. Dutch duo Esteble aka Joep Esseling & Bram Harmsen made their first Anjunadeep appearance with ‘Passage’, the opening track to last Autumn’s iTunes Dance #1 compilation ‘Anjunadeep 07’. ‘Passage’ now sees a release on the pair’s full label debut, the diverse ‘Feathers EP’ featuring four tracks showcasing their intricate composition and deft melodic touch.

The EP opens with ‘Feathers’ a brooding electronic gem, weaving delicate melodies with clever instrumentalism, above a warm textured bassline. ‘Passage’ is a fine example of the duo’s raw organic sound, a skilled soundscape layering soft melodies with natural elements.

Next up ‘The Walk’, an upbeat cinematic groover with as much dynamism as the title would suggest. Closing off the EP ‘Soaring’ is a more dance floor minded production with a stripped back feel combining slick percussive elements with interspersed arpeggios.

Following the release of their acclaimed debut LP ‘Brainsugar’, Cubicolor return with a remix of ‘Fictionalise’ from iconic Norwegian duo Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas. 

The pioneering pair have achieved notoriety over the past 13 years since first working together, with a remarkable back catalogue of influential work including much-loved solo albums, a collaborative LP, and joint remixes for the likes of The Chemical Brothers and Roxy Music. The duo join forces again for the first time since 2012 on a melancholic, disco-tinged remix, following a fruitful few years of solo releases which have been acclaimed by the likes of Pitchfork, Resident Advisor, BBC6Music and NPR.

The fourth EP from Manjumasi comes by way of another San Franciscan, Ben Engelberg aka Bengal. As with the previous release, this too marks the debut of a new artistic alias from a well-versed producer. Formerly releasing as BNZO on such labels as VIVa Music and Trapez LTD, Ben's highly compelling tech house grooves haven't gone unnoticed, garnering attention from the likes of major players like Steve Lawler and Luciano. After a few years break from regular releases, Ben has honed his chops and now re-emerges as Bengal. His new project showcases a different side of his character and an enhanced level of musicality. The three originals on this EP are luscious and deep, texturally rich tracks. Emotive and enchanting, melodic and mysterious. At the same time, they are driven by punchy percussive rhythms that lay a sturdy anchor on the dancefloor, a clear testament to Ben's well-honed experience delivering serious grooves.

First up on remix duty is Swiss maestro Dachshund, who has turned up the energy on Masada and delivered an oustanding club remix, combining his trademark stabby synth motifs with the more subtle melodic elements of the original - a fine pairing of strength and softness. Rounding things out is a re-interpretation of Fractal Dust by Berlin mainstay MUUI. His remix takes the original into an even deeper space, expansive sonic realms washed over with beautiful pads and melodic brushtrokes.

Roy returns (triumphantly) to our lovely little label. And what a return it is. The reactions to both „Rumbala“ and „Megakraft“ have been immense. Just try to keep your dance floors hands down. Well, we must admit it is more a single hand in the air after the break kind of deal (think Italians at parties in Ibiza) but a hand none the less. Seriously though, these tunes are going to be heard all summer long. On the flip side of the mp3 are two more wistful house music lullaby's. Don't miss them either as the moods they conjure are magical.

Lisbon’s Discotexas mark their 100th release in fine form with a collaboration between Moullinex & Xinobi - a long partnership that hadn’t materialized in music since 2011. The duo well and truly shine amongst one another, offering up a unique blend of jazz and house grooves with ‘AZUL'.

Reverb soaked trumpets take centre stage from the off, floating effortlessly over subtle piano chords, pulsing bass lines and rolling melodic clicks. Vocals come and go in poetic manner, "Esta cor e”, adding the finishing touches to a powerful production that is set to whisk you away on a journey across a plethora of colours.
