Frank & Tony drop their new Dream Vibration EP some 5 years after their last outing as a duo with the much-celebrated Odes EP.

Having teased the full release with two upfront tracks - Time Out Of Mind and Timmy Regisford’s masterful instrumental rework of Stretch Out Like The World, we now get to enjoy the full package.

Title track Dream Vibration kicks off with a lazy breakbeat, floating, barely-there chord washes and eventually and slowly reveals a thick, low kick and deep sub to drive things along.

Frank & Tony’s original version of Stretch Out Like The World features Eliana Glass on vocals - a melancholic but tough track that exudes a classic in the making.

Timmy Regisford’s vocal mix amps up the percussion to create a hypnotic club jam idea for an early morning Shelter dancefloor.

The last release by Alex Niggemann on Poker Flat, 'Materium' was hammered by the likes of Sven Vath, Mano Le Tough and Tale Of Us since its release back in May, meaning that anticipation for his next EP couldn't be higher.

The house and techno maestro heads things up over at AEON and his next track 'Abaton' will drop via the imprint on October 20. The deep and atmospheric cut follows suit from his last EP as it combines sharp, intergalactic synth stabs with grand crescendos and pounding kick drums.

The EP finds Hackman going full-circle of sorts. The tunes from this release were written almost five years ago, when the producer was on a totally different aesthetic tip, favoring UK funky styles over the deeper house tones that popped up on THUMP recently. "I would say this EP would have fit better within my catalogue back around 2011," Hackman tells THUMP. "That's when the tracks were originally written and signed to Halocyan, but I'm at the point now where I'm starting to write a bit harder, more dance floor driven music, so this EP is a good base to build from for this."

David Douglas is a Dutch electronica producer. He released his debut EP “Royal Horticultural Society” in 2012 and released his debut album ‘Moon Observations’ on 22 May. 

Right after the release of 'Moon Observations' on Atomnation, the Utrecht based producer brings a club edit of 'Je Ne Sais Pas', one of the standout tracks of his current live-set. Spanning over 6 minutes, this track is an uptempo blueprint of David's productions - consisting of strong Moog basses, Space Echo-ish dub snares and drums that always have a detailed touch. Slam have remixed Robert Hood and Carl Craig For Soma Records 500th release.

Soma500 is a very special release that sees label heads Slam visit two memorable tracks for them over this past anniversary year. The duo of Stuart McMillan & Orde Meikle rework Robert Hoods, “The Bond We Formed” - taken exclusively from the Soma25 compilation and a track that has featured highly in countless sets, a unique Slam rework of Carl Craig’s interpretation of Delia Gonzalez & Gavin Russom’s, Relevee.

One of the most sought after tracks from this year’s Soma25 compilation, Robert Hood’s jacked up ‘The Bond We Formed’ is given two unique remixes from Slam. The first remix brings elements of Hood’s original drum workout together with Slam’s spacial sequences. The second remix sees the pair go retro with an homage to the minimal master, utilising proper 90s tripped out tonality.
The B-side brings together the minds of Detroit’s Carl Craig and Slam as the Glaswegian pair rework Carl’s remix into a full on Techno anthem. The instantly recognisable synth work plays the major part with thunderous percussive work helming the backbone of this monster as it swells to a rapturous crescendo.

It’s with two kisses and a hearty handshake that Bordello A Parigi welcome stalwart of electronic music: Mr Pauli. Schooled on the West Coast, this pivotal figure has worked extensively with likeminded visionaries to create iconic tracks as the Novamen, Matzo & Pauli and Sumerian Fleet whilst producing his own unique works on labels like Moustache and Viewlexx. After such successes Pauli returns as a solo producer, delivering to the Bordello mansion two tracks of pure class. “At Night” is big, bright and brilliant. Hooks grip as soon as the needle lands.
