Anamanaguchi, the New York-based chiptune quartet, had a breakout hit in 2014 with “Pop It” (No. 48 on our list of 101 Most Vital Tracks of the year). The group uses instruments that include synthesizers and Nintendo consoles to craft a sound that is glitchy, trippy and more fun than a barrel of Donkey Kongs.

Glenn Brand a.k.a. Dj Technics is from Baltimore City and is one of the longest serving producers working in Baltimore Club with releases stretching back to the great days of Baltimore Club on Unrulys Hardhead records in the nineties. He’s also one of the co-founders of Club Kingz crew that included Club Queen K-Swift, Dukeyman and Rod Lee. An interesting fact is that he also produced tracks for the HBO series The Wire.

Dj Technics (@bmoredj_technics) was the creator of the legendary Madhouse / Clubtrax mixtapes on clear cassettes which were the prototype for Baltimore Club evolution. His unique brand of Baltimore Club is very strongly rooted in Baltimore's history of Soul, Funk, House and Disco. He’s a veteran of music and renowned vinyl lover who has provided the sample sources for many JERSEY CLUB classic tracks over the years. DJ Tameil who is the originator of Jersey Club mentions specifically DJ Technics as his biggest influence behind the Jersey Club sound.

A Sides and Makoto are no strangers to the music industry. A Sides has been making music since the early 90s and had put records out on labels as diverse as Metalheadz, Valve, True Playaz and Hospital, whilst Makoto – a true legend in Japan, who has even turned his hand to acting -  has had tunes featured on games such as Gran Turismo 5 and superb bike sim Tourist Trophy as well as putting out introspective, jazzy bangers for the likes of LTJ Bukum’s Good Looking Records and Hospital.

The pair are just about to launch their own label Eastern Elements in order to release their vibe fuelled new album Aquarian Dreams, a varied ride through the multitude of jungalist styles they have both worked through over their many years in the game. Expect a slew of unreleased tunes culled for their upcoming tome alongside classic sounding old school vibes, soulful sections, dutty ragga leaning riddims, splashes of pure jungalism, nostalgic two-step and even a smattering of darkness thrown in for good measure. In short it’s a history lesson and homage to one of the UK greatest ever genres by two masters who paid their dues a long time ago. Play this one loud!

Just want to express my gratitude to Agnes. The song "Familiar" is one of my favourite songs of all time. It has really helped conduit to my inner feminine and connected 
me on an emotional, somatic and spiritual level for many years. Agnes' musical works
have always been a quite visceral journey for me.
I myself being a drum and bass producer, wanted to encapsulate this feeling of 
deep sentimentality and spin it within the flow of my own creativity. My intention with
music is to create a bridge between the harder grittier aspects of certain genres 
and aggregate the softer more gentle side. Which for me means a symbiotic coalescence of masculine and feminine energies.
