Malaga native German Brigante has been serving up polished underground sounds on labels like MonaBerry and Dynamic for many years. His meticulous melodies find favour with the likes of Dixon and he runs his own Manitox label. Yamil, meanwhile, is a label regular with a rich and worldly style that often takes him to the top of digital charts as well as some of the world's finest clubs. Their superb new single features the voice and percussion of producer, singer and percussionist G.Zamora, who turns in one of his deepest performances. He sings about an inner journey where the mind is always analysing and trying to take the positives from life which in turn makes the earthly path more transcendental. 'Sigue Tu Camino' Feat. G.Zamora is a deeply hypnotic Afro-house cut with spiritual synths. The organic percussion peppers the supple drums and G.Zamora's vocal casts an almighty spell. It is the sort of life-enriching track that will form the highlight of any set, such is the realness of its emotions. Afro-house music doesn't come more stylish and classy than this new single from the connected label.

Unser Podcast Nummer 83 kommt diese Woche von niemanden Geringerem als von der bezaubernden und umwerfenden Mira. 

Lange Jahre beeinflusste Mira die ost-deutsche Techno-Szene bevor sie vor ca. 10 Jahren ihre musikalische Heimat in der legendären BAR25 in Berlin, später Kater Holzig und jetzt Kater Blau fand. Während ihrer Zeit in Berlin hat sie ihren ureigenen Sound geformt, der an endlose Nächte voller Wunder und Gefühlstiefe erinnert.

In der Bar25 war es auch, wo sich Miras Wege zum ersten Mal mit Chris Schwarzwalder, NU und Jo Ke kreuzten; daraus entstanden sind nicht nur lebenslange Freundschaften sondern auch kreativer musikalischer Austausch, Kooperationen und ein nicht enden wollender Output an toller Musik.

Jeder, der selbst schon einmal in den Genuss ihrer endlosen Sets gekommen ist, versteht sofort warum ganz Berlin ihren speziellen Sound so sehr schätzt. Warm und  hypnotisierend geht er unter deine Haut und lässt dich mit einem Gefühl tiefer Verbundenheit zurück.

Just came back from our showcases in Shanghai and Beijing, and I am feeling super invigorated. Being able to converse in Mandarin with Howie Lee and the Do Hits! crew certainly brought us closer together, and we are currently planning a quarterly residency with them in Beijing - Keep an eye out for that, but in the meantime, soak up the latest IN 30. Slightly rough around the edges in certain segments, but hey there's the beauty of improvisation. I hope you enjoy the selections nonetheless.

Erased Tapes label mates Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm record and mix their first collaborative record between Reyjkjavík and Berlin as a surprise release for label founder Robert Raths.

The ambient/electronic work ‘Stare’ is a true family effort from Ólafur Arnalds and Nils Frahm with Anne Müller joining in on cello and all graphics by close label-friend and now in-house designer Torsten Posselt of Feld Studios.

This release will be strictly limited and exclusively available on Record Store Day 2012, April 21st. Coinciding with the 5th Anniversary of Erased Tapes, it’s also available from the official Erased Tapes online store and sure to become a must-have for fans of the label and these two artists.

For the past two years, we have been playing almost every production by Matthew Dekay & Lee Burridge. Now we're very happy to welcome both of them on Innervisions IV38. "Lost In A Moment" is a track that has given us goosebumps when playing it out in the clubs. Gab Rhome launches his own label in an effort to simplify the process of releasing music, thus returning creative flexibility and freedom to the productions themselves. Rendez-vous is a personal pursuit, coming at a stage of reimagination for Rhome. Launching in collaboration with his debut live set, RDV will simply be a place for Gab's art in its purest form.

The Changing Lanes EP leads the charge, with two tracks rooted in Gab Rhome's journey in dance music thus far. Harnessing a career's worth of world influences, RDV 001 is the start of a new story.

After All That pays tribute to the classic Gab Rhome groove - a housey beat overlays soothing vocals, reigning in the ropes for the b-side. A charming melody brings light to a tune driven by a sad and reflective message, with Gab himself providing the vocal chops.

"The pace of the vocal in After All That is inspired by RnB, soul music and general warmth. In fact, it's a bit of a contradiction to In The Rain There's No Lane." It's a tune for the calmer moments, with a groove that allows thoughts to flow freely. "The goal was to go for the cream on top of an espresso: packed with flavor, comforting, and a goosebump-based cure for a sleepy soul."
