"I just picked tracks that were definitive in my life. Songs that one way or another effected my out look or my approach to music. For example the first time I heard Jehst 'Alien' I threw all my lyrics away, 'cos he had raised the bar. Same with Joni Mitchell. I don't absorb music constantly. When something comes along that grabs me it tends to become an obsession. Every track on the mix has at one point been on repeat, warped my mind and made me want to do something differently or better.. Sometimes musically and sometimes just in life in general."
