Razor-N-Tape top off another excellent year with the release of the third edition of their Family Affair series which brings together incredible artists from all over the globe. The compilation features label regulars Cody Currie, Cor.ece, JKriv, Saucy Lady and Guinu and teams them up with newcomers inclduing Kim Anh, Prince of Queens, Yuu Udagawa, Gene Tellem.

Our premier from the album today comes from LV regular Ralph Session, an artist who has grown in stature and production ability every year since we started following him. His track Brooklyn Disco is right up there with his finest work and see’s him mine his own clubbing experiences to deliver a hypnotic slice of powerhouse disco edged house.

Here comes a new BLACK LOOPS EP including remixes by munich based COEO and Neovinyl’s CARLO. They go smooth this time. Rhodes pianos, some jazzy chords, a rolling beat.
The two guys know how to make a swinging loop. And they got style. No wonder as one is a funk drummer - Riccardo - who lives in Berlin and the other - Gabriele - makes his money as a photographer living in Milan. Every two months they meet in Riccardo's studio space in Berlin Kreuzberg and jam for a few nights and days. Doing new tracks, mixtapes, loops. Djing in local bars and clubs.

Punching in on remix duty, Austro-American boogie don Rodney Hunter morphs the original into a straight out sensuous, soulful melter, inbound for extended use in the ballroom and a choice position in the bags of big room disco and house DJs out there. Carried by infectiously lush strings, congas, brass and hectic slap bass moves sprinkled with a fine coat of piano stabs for good measure, the track is an invitation to get down true-school style; and being presented in both short form and extended version, ideal for either hi-impact effect or lengthier sessions.
