Vocal driven electronica, pop sensibilities and a touch of melancholia is a tried and tested recipe of SILENCE MUSIC cuisine. A new release titled My Holy Senses is no exception. This creative venture joins together a renown Lithuanian multi-instrumentalist and composer Vygintas Kisevicius, an up-and-coming singer and songwriter Markas Palubenka and a versatile SILENCE producer Few Nolder. Included in the package are two DJ friendly adaptations from Dave DK and Vidis. My Holy Senses is a short modern day Love story about Acoustics giving an adoring kiss to Electronica in a dim light of a night club.

Among all the untold trends that rise and fall in house and techno, Kompakt just keeps on keeping on; always varied, but held together around an unending flow of incredibly pure, incredibly powerful, elemental dancefloor forces. It's also a constantly collaborative venture, its core artists constantly combining and recombining to keep the basic template fresh, and here we're very happy to see two of the label owners Michael Mayer and Reinhard Voigt (younger brother of the mighty Wolfgang) on a split release. Mayer's track is, surprise surprise, an absolutely classic Kompakt banger.

Fresh from starting his own label Insult To Injury, Timothy Clerkin returns to Ransom Note Records with the 'Knife Edge Heart' EP. Three tracks of stirring techno for dark basements and warm hearts. Timothy is a very interesting man, but he’s also the sort of person who’d rather let his music do the talking, so we’ll move on swiftly. 
‘Divisive’ is paranoid warehouse techno at its very best.
After cutting his teeth as one half of Eskimo Twins, Timothy launched his solo career in 2014 under the now-retired Heretic moniker. He’s since released on labels including Throne of Blood, Hard Fist and Days of Being Wild. Timothy’s last release on R$N was the 'Serenade' EP, which brought us plenty of special moments last year - most memorably Andrew Weatherall closing out his Houghton quarry set with ‘Execute’. Here’s to many more this summer and beyond.
