Defected Records and Pacha Sydney have teamed up to do a series of parties in Australia. The first featured the label boss Simon Dunmore and house legend MK. It was a great day all round with awesome music, crowd and vibe at the Ivy Pool Club in Sydney. We were fortunate enough to play a couple of sets on the day. Droog are the hearts and minds behind essential LA house and techno label Culprit. The imprint has become an institution in its short six year existence thanks to dance heavyweights like Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Subb-an, Adriatique, and Benoit & Sergio.

The trio that comprises Droog––Andrei Osyka, Brett Griffin, Justin Sloe––Will be trekking down the 10 Freeway towards Palm Springs next weekend, June 13-14, to perform at Splash House, where their moody and brooding tunes will provide a respite for all the summery house vibes. 

This mix kicks off with a sample from Flight of the Concords before utilizing Droog members' deep knowledge of dance and dropping tunes from all over the house and techno spectrum. Acts from BPitch Control, We Play House, Pets Recordings, Tsuba, Futureboogie, and their own Culprit pop up in a selection that just oozes with style. You cannot fake the swag these guys have earned the hard way.
