Why hello!!  I'm decompressed and back in the city after Burning Man and happy to share my set from Bubbles & Bass, the best after hours camp on the playa.  This one's extra special to me as my set was only supposed to be an hour (11-noon), closing the party, however people were enjoying it so much, they stayed open and I played for nearly 2 hours longer than scheduled.  This mix represents the softer side of david hohme, comprised of my current favorite mellowed-out and melodic deep house tracks.  I like to call the style dream house.  Enjoy ;)

Don’t think the fact that you’ll be spending your weekend getting beamed in the face by beach balls and railing sunscreen necessarily implies that shit can’t get at least a little bit cerebral when you’re out in Palm Springs for Splash House. 

As multinational deep house  TACHES’ Splash House Session mix shows, there’s plenty of room for headier themes that keep a laid back vibe. For example, acts unknown in the dance world like The Books and Blonde Redhead sit very comfortable aside choice house cuts from the likes of Dance Spirit and Butch. Even The Zombies’ flower power folk-rock classic “Time of the Season” gets an outing, albeit via an M.in & Suptil edit.
