ThunderBear is Steve Primo(Electronic Musician), Herb Jones, (Live Drums)

Since forming in Nashville,TN in 2009, ThunderBear has risen to the forefront of the live electronic music scene in the Southeast. Performing music that appeals to all types of music fans, merging drum and bass, trance, electro, and hip hop into dance floor smashing music! The musical brainchild Primo comes from an engineer...ing and DJ background. He started out spinning IDM/Drum and Bass on vinyl and scratching in 2001. After several years in the studio trenches the music has progressed into what you hear today. Herb Jones aka Silky Pink, on live drums, has super tight gospel drumming influences that provide the fills, fat beats and fancy footwork that add even more flavor to the mix. The band works heavily with many different kinds of performance artists, featuring live painters, bellydancers, and other visual artists to add to the performance. After the release of their debut album ” They Came From Beyond” in 2011 the band has been playing shows and festivals all over the U.S. promote their music. ThunderBear does it all musically and is a unique audio-visual force that is growing fast. The goal is to bring innovative music to others while telling the story of our lives through music. It is a gift to be an artist.
