O Canada how I love thee let me count the ways! There is a magical cabin in the middle of the woods in deepest Nova Scotia where I have had some nights of revelry and ribaldry with the best crew of people you could ever call friends. This was one of those nights. Mark and I have played together many times over the years but we had never played back to back (if you don't count Red Nail which I don't)until this night and we were lucky enough to get it recorded. The spirits were moving, the vibes were thick and the chemistry was in full effect. We played some new stuff and some classic jams that took me back to Shelter, Red Dog, RedNoFive, Industry, The End, and all the clubs we've partied together over the years. It is not perfect, it is not seamless but it is what happened. This one is for my Classics family. Thanks so much for having us! xoxo

Today's MiniMix comes from a member of our local LA scene, Giovanni, who produces under the name Hikeii (pronounced 'hi–key'). The 20–year old producer hails from the island of Aruba and was raised in Los Angeles, where he's been working very closely with Lido on production. This summer, he earned a big break on Chance the Rapper's summer smash "Wala Cam," and since then he has been continuing his background work in the studio and enjoying the fall.
